She doesn't have a lot of iconic moments, correct. She DOES have a recognizable voice and some iconic songs. She's the perfect pop star. Her songs aren't very revolutionary (minus WFL, that changed the pop scene's sound) but they're not generic either. Carly's basic in every aspect. I like both but come on, Carly stans can't come for Rihanna. I don't even stan Rihanna anymore either
Her voice is a dime a dozen straight off the boat from the Caribbean. It's not that serious. She never was or will be anything special
No one able to being up a single noteable non-Christian related moment in Rihanna career the biggest coaster in pop music. Doing whatever popular, no identity
Christ also gave her the only iconic look of her career

There are only two Carly stans on ATRL and one is a troll and the other is just delusional.
I think you already know which one you are dealing with right now, don't you?

being iconic is corny.
Rihanna starts movements
like weed, instagram and being a bad bitch
As a music enthusiast ever since 1999, i must have missed something

I could be wrong, of course. It seemed to me that after We Found Love was released, pop music started embracing more of the Calvin Harris sound versus the Afrojack/RedOne sound (at least for a short time)
"We Found Love" did inspire a few knock offs like Tulisa's "Young" and perhaps made melodic instrumental breaks a standard in EDM pop. All of Calvin's subsequent hits in the US wouldn't have been possible without WFL, and songs like "Don't You Worry Child" probably wouldn't have smashed there either.
