-Price elasticity of demand
-Potential increase in consumption following the increase in wages
-Potential increase in productivity : being payed a decent wage can increase your incentive to be more efficient

There are several members of the Republican Party that are black though.

I knew this would happen. The voter turn-out is always lower for mid-terms, which gives Republicans an advantage (a lot of democrat voters aren't really into politics). Also Obama's approval ratings seem to have gone down recently, and also I've noticed a general shift to right-wingedness, probably to do with males being scared of the feminist movement and people being scared of ISIS/terrorism and immigration recently.

I don't think it's THAT big a deal though, but poor people (and women, black people, immigrants, muslims and gay people) might struggle even more the next couple of years.

Not surpised BUT I don't feel very good about this.

Though Kay Hagan wasn't the 'best' candidate for our state (Quite Lackluster,TBH),I voted for Hagan because I literally CANNOT STAND Pat McCrony's sidekick Thom 'Good Ol' Boy Tillis.

I REALLY want him OUT by 2020,because looking at what he did in Raleigh the past few years, I don't want THAT THING to represent me.

Seems like the Democratic Party AS A WHOLE needs some introspection to do
