ironically, sometimes americans are the ones who seem the most sensitive about nazism. Perhaps because they've never really encountered it, or because of the massive power jews have over there. Just think about how many movies where nazis, or an enemy representing nazis, are the enemy. Star wars for example.
also there's a wave of neo-nazism washing over financially struggling nations in eastern europe these days. In Hungary the neo-nazi party got 20% of the votes in the election. they openly call jews a "national security risk"

To be fair, I think it's normal to learn mostly about your own part of the world. In high school I don't remember spending a lot of time learning about slavery, the American civil war, etc. Maybe when it comes to WW2 Americans focus more on Pearl Harbor and Japan.
But yeah, glorifying nazi imagery like that, I'm not sure it could even be shown on TV here.
We spent a decent amount on WW2 in AP World, if I recall. We went in depth about the entire war.

We gloss over WW1 because it's so much more European though. We don't even learn all the backstory going into the late 1800s. When I visited the French Army Museum the WW1 exhibit was HUGE I was shocked

I guess it's individual. I'm from Norway which was occupied, but I don't really mind still. It's not like it's gonna inspire anyone to go out and become a nazi anyway - it's not nazi propaganda any more than the movie Starship Troopers is
