Based upon her videos she should be a class act performer. Her voice is great, don't know much about her dance moves. Even with that, she can just interact with the backup dancers and do a couple moves here and there (a la Britney's latest performances). But really, it doesn't take much. She didn't even perform "Energy", when all she'd have to do is stand at a mic and sing if anything.
If she can't perform then why try a solo career is the better question.
