Beysus did a mutha****in' excellent job as Etta James in it. She straight killed that ****. *clap* Her best performance to date, by far. OSCAR plz. bitch totally deserves EVERY award she nominated for this role. they better let her win this ****. That was some fabulous fine ****. She especially kill ALL her emotional/sad scenes -- at the restaurant when Etta met her white dad, and -- at the fireplace. the chemistry between Adrian Brody and Beyonce there just wow, I didn't expected that! I did not see "Beyonce" even one ****in' time in the movie, it was all ETTA. And damn, Bee curse like a storm in that film, and all those curses coming out NATURAL, and NOT force. and EVERY song she sang in the film, it was ALL emotional, and you can see her passion/pain when she sing it. I almost tear-jerking seeing her, how amazing she was, and you can see the depth and hard work she put in this character. God, I'm SO proud of my girl Beysus.
