Lesser known artist thrive in the Spotify environment, they get discovered faster instead of struggling for their label to promote them. This move isn't helping them its just helping Taylor

k, except the music industry actually grew with new paid music formats and no one ever denied that. But it's already been shown that streaming services are actually killing sales.

I support this. I truly feel that as album sales get worse, music as a whole gets worse, because 1) there less incentive to put in the effort to make great music 2) labels won't take chances on amazing new artists because there is little profit to be made in anyone left-of-center.

It will be interesting to see if anyone big joins her.

Geez how much money does she need? Obviously not just about letting fans enjoy her music. She wants every cent she can get. Very sad and disheartening when musicians lose sight of what music should be about.

I can see why Taylor decided to delete her music from Spotify. For a music service that supplies music legally they (Taylor's label) probably aren't seeing enough revenues. However with that being said, I do think she should keep her music on Spotify.

Ever since I started using Spotify, the amount of music I download illegally has been pretty much non-existent, and I think other users probably do the same.

Funnily enough, the music that isn't available on Spotify, won't get me to buy the music legally, but I am more likely to download it from the internet, which leads to no income for the artist. At least if I was streaming it on Spotify, Taylor (and other artists) would at least receive some revenue, this way she receives none.
