I see two sides to this: good for her, on her rather large platform as a global superstar for admitting something like this and reassuring her very young fans that it's a common thing in today's world.
Alternatively, when you are the type of celebrity as she is, there is the inevitable thought by some that she's saying this for attention. And from a personal perspective, I probably wouldn't have said anything. But das just me.
It's honestly her dramatic decline in popularity that has taken the biggest toll on her, she probably needs constant validation by being the biggest thing in pop and that hasn't been the case since 2011, poor girl.
