Like it will give your opinion any boost when you state you are a fan lol. Nobody cares about your nonexistence opinion as long as you limit to "they suck" and "you have no taste".
If you didn't care you wouldn't have replied. And at any rate, it does give it a boost actually. Her first album was dope and was totally off center of what was pop-typical at the moment while still being totally accessible. Gwen didn't blow up for being boring, she blew up because she was uniquely accessible. Her second album was a step down but it still contained some Gwen quirkiness that you want and expect of one of her pop records. Push and Shove was an incredibly bland disappointment and it looks like this new solo record is turning out to be a continuation of that bland streak. Baby Don't Lie sounds like some dull 104.3 Maroon 5/OneRepublic nonsense and Start the Fire is straight up ugly. Its like the song Push and Shove without the flavor. Not ruling her out yet because I love her and im gonna give her the benefit of the doubt, but shes really not impressing and if these 2 songs are anything to go by then shes clearly lost her creative voice or its being silenced by the label. To enjoy Baby Don't Lie you'd have to be the same consumer that can get into Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson which I am not but many people here clearly are and considering the positive reception the song is receiving here atm I think it speaks volumes about its quality. Im not into mediocrity and up until recently Gwen had been anything but mediocre.
Fergie is almost top 50(?) on iTunes with no video, no promotion and minimal airplay so idk why people are writing her off. (LA Love is better than BDL too.)
I cant believe that baby dont lie is actually getting radio play. i heard it twice on the radio today, and this one classmate of mine said that she heard it like 20 times today
Are we talking about Nelly Furtado? Did she release something
Anyways, I think that Gwen definitely got the jump on Fergie, releasing the song and the video within like 48 hours. The preview tonight >>>>>>> Fegie's video stills.

Your point of view. Nobody is taking it away from you. But theres no need to convince other people that they have no music taste if they dont follow your opinion. But feel free to reveal it to us, I bet a lot of people care.
