That doesn't matter as Bey has the most amount of haters. The GP's here for her and that's what really matters.

Bey's singles are selling so well because she's done everything from the VMAs to the Grammys to the Superbowl to the BRITs to a huge commercial to two WW tours in the past two years. You're acting like they're selling so well on their own when Bey has done more promo in the past two years than Britney has done in the past decade.
It would be like saying P!nk's "Who Knew" is more memorable than Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" because it received recurrent airplay once P!nk came off a big era. Obviously you're going to have "high" catalogue sales once you're promoting and receiving tons of radioplay.
Bey doesn't have that many haters. You all just get defensive and label anyone with even a minor criticism as a hater. I stanned Bey years before anyone on this site did and I still like her but the minute I get realistic about the lack of creativity or put her sales in to perspective with Britney's, you all get pressed and call me a hater. Calm down with that and learn to accept that your fave isn't #1 in every area.

Britney stans are the ones bringing up irrelevant arguments like sales from 1999 and stats from some unofficial chart. If anything I'd think that shows more insecurity.

In 1999, Bey had sold more than Britney thanks to her debut in 1997 and second album/peak in 1999. The BeyHive get so ****ing annoying when they do this. I count your fave's sales from before my fave even started, including her peak which was the SAME year as Britney's, yet when I include Britney's sales, you all want to cry about them "not counting" because they "all come from 15 years ago" when Britney hadn't even sold a tenth of her career total in 1999. You all have no common sense.

Sales represent people, including the GP, actually liking the song enough to buy the damn thing. Britney has more memorable singles, this is about SINGLES remember, not who is more RELEVANT at the present time, which all have stronger single sales than Beyonce.
Please do tell me, before beyonce released her latest edition of the garbage bin late 2013, when did anyone care about her or her singles? No one cared or referenced her, they simply do NOW because she's the IN thing, like Miley was earlier 2013. Beyonce's expiry date is soon. Better milk these threads dry before your fave fades again.

Sales from 1999 have nothing to do with whether or not her music is more remembered TODAY . It's not that hard to grip or understand.

Neither do sales from 2003, 2006, etc when talking about Bey's sales
Get over it. Britney wins outright in the sales department, even if you threw in Destiny's Child, Kelly solo, Michelle solo and Beyonce solo altogether, and that would give Bey a 1 year head start.
And this is just about better discography. Not relevance. Britney, as shown by the poll, clearly has a better discography.

Well Beyonce "fade" will still be an honor. Look at her achievement to sustain her career. Look at the number of people, young and old, who are wiling to see her live. She exemplifies success. You can throw sales all you want, but anyone would kill for a career like Beyonce's. She is not only in your radio, in the movies, on your newspaper, etc. Full packaged diva that will never be duplicated. So proud to stan for her.

Except no one was talking the albums shes sold in 2003. We're talking about catalog sales, streams, recurrent airplay, etc all of which are indications of current relevancy of past songs/albums, and in every area Bey slays in Britney, hence her discography being more memorable to GP.
No one said that Bey has sold more albums that Brit. That's irrelevant, because guess what? Baby One More Time selling a billion albums at the time of it's release has no lasting effect or relevance in 2014. It means absolutely if her discography isn't memorable and she if she isn't held in the same regard.

Crazy in Love was released in 2003 (the last time Britney performed BOMT on TV). Beyonce performed the song countless times and most recently at the Superbowl in 2011. And it was watched by more than 110 million people but guess what? It only has 126 million views on YouTube.
I'm just trying to be objective. I don't stan for anyone.

The fact that is true Beyonce even has 10 studio albums and over a year of career on Britney yet somehow only Britney's sales pre-2013 don't count because the Hive said so.
So let me get this right: SL is bigger than BOMT despite it going #1 in only two countries and having no musical impact, Britney's sales pre-2013 don't count because they're bigger than Bey's, Bey's catalogue sales are because her songs are "more remembered" and not because she's done more promo than Britney has in the past decade, etc. What could the Hive possibly say next?

If the OP asked which discography sold better, that would make more sense. We are basing "strong" with longevity and not sales.

And why are you so convinced that they aren't selling so well on their own? Do people who buy them tell you they do so due to these? Bey's singles sell more than Brit's as the GP remembers them – that's the way it is. You act like Britney never shows up on TV while we all know she does.
Most of Britney's singles don't receive any recurrent airplay. It's one of the reason the GP barely remembers her songs (especially her old ones).
Beyoncé does have a lot of haters on here. Why don't you get realistic about Britney sometimes too?
Anyway, at the end, nothing makes Brit's singles more memorable than Bey's while several points makes Bey's more memorable than Brit's.

BOMT does not age well. Does it make sense for Nsync to promote Bye, Bye, Bye in 2014? CIL can still compete with music on the radio today. Beyonce's discography ages way better than Brintey's.
