Bruno is arguably a better performer than Gaga, without the tacky costumes. Everything Gaga can do, Bruno has done, sometimes even better. So, why are the monsters so mad? It's neither Katy's nor Bruno's fault that they are still relevant enough to do a big show like Superbowl, while Gaga is forced to do a joint album with an elderly man to get her career back on the tracks.

Katy has never performed with almost all of America watching. Award shows get like 10m viewers, and they're probably the same people (pop fans) all the time who already know she can't sing worth a damn.
If she does it live in front of the whole country, that'll be a different story.

All monsters have to go on is Gaga living off an elderly man's selling power and legacy to sell an album that will be forgotten long after the holiday season.
