Do you guys have a favorite lyric by Taylor? I was listening to Enchanted on my way to work and it hit me, I think my favorite all time lyric from her is "Please don't be in love with someone else, please don't have somebody waiting on you". I know it's pretty basic but it's mostly the way she delivers it. You can almost hear the pain, the fear and I can totally relate to that.

YES!! Great question. My favorite overall is Long Live's lyrics "I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you". The way she screams it in the last chorus OMG Never fails to get me . I also love the line "Bring on all the pretenders I'm not afraid". .

Ofcourse there is the lyric in Last Kiss "I'm not much for dancing, but for you I did" ugghhhhh, once again, it's that delivery that PUNCHES .


Also, the way she sings "now you mail back my things, and I walk home alone" is so great. I hope there are moments like this on 1989, although I am sure there will be.


Too add, Taylor may not be the best vocalist, but she damn sure knows how to put the emotions in her lyrics as she is recording her songs and singing them live. To me, that is more important than being technically perfect.

Next week, she will pass Meghan on radio and probably on itunes soon, by saturday I d say, it depends on how quick Meghan's decline will be !
