This remind me of how when I was younger in the mid/late 90s early 00s where people would say music isn't as good as it used to be. I agree. Except the difference is alot of people didn't like the influence hip hop had and try to discount even the greats of that time. They didn't like the overuse of sampling of older songs but it was reinventing a good song and modernizing it. It's a shame that doesn't happen as much nowadays

I honestly think the youngin's now will look back in 10-15 years but will have limited songs of quality to pull from.
Note: this spark when seeing Gwen stefani the voice promo and realizing how I STANNED for the LAMB era while in college and hollaback girl but now hollaback girl sounds horrible to me for some reason.
What reminded me is how I see some really are associating Anaconda as a quality track in addition to being fun and exciting (water cooler talk).
It had me thinking:
I really think Moment 4 life will be an obvious song that people will appreciate 10-15 years from now.
I also think naysayers that think Superbass was pop fluff will REALLY understand its excellences 10 years from now.
Sadly, as much as I love Freedom...it had little staying power.
This goes against my 5 line max rule that i made but what songs do you honestly think will stand the test of time 10-15 years from now from her catalog. Are any PinkPrint tracks included so far. I want at least 3 singles from this era...so that means she has 3 more singles to convince me
Sorry, I'll go back to my 5 line max after I get this out of my system.
