it may be the most meaningful song on the album in terms of imagery and message. it's the song that the more you listen to it, the more it will mean to you. and it can be interpreted in many different ways (not to be confused with the song played with a video which changed its meaning). i think you guys know who produced it, and she did a great job
So Chapman produced two songs? One for her solo write and the other with Imogen?

Which one was your favorite opening track? State of Grace or the album opener for 1989?
I did and I remember how underwhelming Red was on the first listen
The trash Starlight was the stand out
Starlight is still a standout
OOOOh, oOOoooOH he's talking crazy
oooOH, OOOH dancing with me
OOooOH, oOOh we could get married
Have ten kids and teach 'em how to
DREEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAMM

Sis RED was pretty meh on first listen. I was getting bored with the trio of Sad Beautiful Tragic, The Licky One and Everything Has Changed. Not to mention the nursery rhyme that is Stay Stay Stay and the generic country mess I Almost Do. Taylor sis should've trimmed that album. 16 songs were too long and too many.
I love Tenerife Sea. It would be cute if Taylor ever did a song like that for Ed
I guess we're stuck with 22 for now, how misandrist of her.
oh i forgot to mention! when taylor first walked up to me, tenerife sea was playing. and i was like "oh my God i have this tattood on my ribs", and showed her. and she was like "i know! ive seen it! cant believe im seeing it in person". then i was like "and i have 'may these memories break our fall' on my foot". and she was like "thats such a perfect place symbolically to get it" and i was like EXACTLY
What I meant by that is … I think one thing that I’ve been doing throughout my career is I’ve always implemented different kinds of sensibilities from different genres in my music. And that’s been something I’ve been proud of. But I have never put together an album quite as sonically cohesive as this album. I’ve always wanted an album that had a very distinctive sound, and this one is very synthesizer-based and automated drums and layered vocals. I think that the most authentic thing to do, and the most authentic way to approach it was to be honest about what it was.”

That's so sweet! Congrats on going btw and thanks for all the tea on your conversation with Andrea, that was definitely the best write-up I've seen from any of the fans yet
And I remember a fan saying she played it at the first listening session too. Subtle
