Let's hope the interview airing Friday morning gives it the small bost it needs to go top10 Either way, it will get there as soon as they decide to perform somewhere. Maybe when she tours there with the artRAVE?
Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj have stormed into the lead on Official Singles Chart with Bang Bang.
The trio’s collaboration leads today’s Chart Update, pushing last week’s Number 1 Changing by Sigma and Paloma Faith down to second place.
Bang Bang, which trails Jessie’s third album Sweet Talker, has already found success across the globe; entering the Top 10 in America, Australia and across Europe.
If it manages to hold its current spot until the weekend, Bang Bang will serve as Jessie’s third Number 1 single after Price Tag and Domino, both of which were chart-toppers in 2011.
It will also mark Nicki’s first ever UK chart-topper and Ariana’s second Number 1 in the country, following the Iggy Azalea-assisted Problem earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off is up two places to Number 3
The excuses. This album isn't even cutting the already low commercial expectations set for it. Top ten should have been a piece of cake for the "biggest pop star in the world," as proclaimed by GWR.
