Lindsay Lohan was, at one point, making a name for herself in the music industry with the single “Rumors,” which was released 10 years ago on Sept. 21, 2004. During that time, she was Hollywood's “It Girl” following the blockbuster success of "Mean Girls" so naturally, like every other teen starlet, music was the next frontier. The resulting album that followed, Speak, was a very promising start in introducing Lohan as a singer. She was more hands-on in writing with the follow-up record, the aptly-titled A Little More Personal (Raw). Unlike some starlets who were nabbing record deals with zero talent, Lindsay could breath life into a song with her signature raspy vocals. Personal troubles near the end of that decade unfortunately stalled a third album from happening. With Linds doing better as of late, a return to music would wouldn't be such a bad idea.
The music video for "Rumors" was directed by Jake Nava and premiered on Oct. 14, 2004, through MTV.
Let's take a look back at the timeless debut international single "Rumors" by the legendary American icon Lindsay Lohan.
