Nah. I believe she cared for him. But the relationship wasn't as intense as some people like to make it. At least on the level of Jake/John.
Obviously they still talk, if he mentioned that it's strange not to pull up to her driveway. Didn't he move 2 blocks from her in Cali this year?
That might explain why HnC's instrumental was playing before her Target set.
