Call Me Maybe was many times bigger than she was as an artist, and because she was relatively unknown before, she never quite had the ability to cement her status as a pop girl outside of that one song.

Well at some point people cared about her ("Good Time" another multi-platinum hit tells this) - before you say "lol its a feature" Owl City didn't had a hit single since 2010 + after GT all his singles flopped harder than hers.

She should have released the album during the time CMM was huge - oh and the Bieber duet was the only hit left on the alberm.
