Jay, Queenye and Em are already legends. As for Pharrell, he's had a late revival with some monster hits but he hasn't stood on his own two legs as a brand in himself for long enough yet.

It's not only that, but 90% of his success is hinged on his sheer likability and the media approval of him, once that's questioned, he will be NOTHING.

Imagine if he faces some of the "scandals" that Beyonce (Baby bump, national anthem) or Britney (I won't even..) have, his career would sink faster than his movies do at the box office.
