Plus, the show didn't really have any continuity from Moesha. In one episode, Kim's mother was a short skinny lady and her father was still married to her mother. Then, the Parkers came along, her mother was fat and a college student and her daddy a deadbeat.

The ending was such a mess, but I'm mad they didn't give Moesha a PROPER ending.

Anyway, the whole Kim's mom thing WAS a mess, but I'm glad Monique ended up being cast as her mom in the future seasons. Oh well, a plothole that didn't really matter.
