I think it's mostly due to autotune Like... her natural voice sounds fine on MM/Shellback tracks (like with WANEGBT's verses). I really like both tho Just prefer when her voice isn't edited to death.

I know! At least for most of her career she's never really used it.. I just hope on this album she dosent use it at all. I feel when you use stuff like that you loose authenticity, like I'm okay now with her going pop as long as she dosent loose that authenticity in her music.

Nothing can come close to Taylor and Nathan's harmonies, they are what makes signature Taylor choruses. But I feel like they are primarily what makes her songs sound "the same" (see: Fearless album). As much as I'll miss them, the fact that she kept making those songs across four different albums is very generous.
