I only thought the VMA performance would be more 1980ish. I don't think they switched around anything because of the "controversy". Simply because it wasn't meant to be controversial in the first place.

Thinking about her joining Voice as adviser, and considering the fact that news used past tense to describe it. Is it possible Taylor disappeared for that project. You know, same thing happened when they shot "Shake It Off" video.

Honestly, I'm trying to think about 3rd week promotions:
After the first round of promotion, releasing the single and MV on the same day, Taylor had been quiet for couple of days, bang number one on Top 100;
After VMA, she had been quiet for several days, then I think number one for second week is on lock;
Now, it's 3rd week, curious about the further promotions.

Edit: Was this Taylor and her team's typical way? What happened during Red era?
Edit2: Other single artists promote their singles like crazy, maybe that's why they are single artists?
Edit3: There's one advantage I can think about: Taylor's way can test the touring market very well by avoiding over-promotion.
Edit4: Only Radio Awards in Germany for 3rd week? Anything else?

Poor everyone, it seams not just us are thirsty of Taylor news. Fun story though.

Eh, I'm pretty sure YBWM and Love Story are pretty much certs, and I wouldn't think 22 is necessarily a guarantee.

I went to a Pride thing this weekend and there was a drag performance to Shake it Off. It was majestic; I went up to her afterwards to say how much I loved the perf esp the song choice. Get that fan promo, girl.

She can have a Perfect kind of ballad ala P!nk I would love that.

Same with YBWM. The fact that she dumps it as acoustic song on some dates, makes me think it wont have big chance
Maybe they may appear in acoustic setlist ( if she has, since I believe this tour will have more choreography )

I think it will be 13 tracks from 1989 + 3 MM songs from Red + The Lucky One + LS / YBWM ( which is remaked in Motown version ) + maybe Red / Mean / Sparks Fly
