I definitely agree with this
I mean she probably got really tired of the people saying she wasn't country anymore, when she wasn't trying to stray away from the genre- only to experiment and evolve with her sound.
Pop though it can fall into the "generic" category, seems to be a bit more open to diversity. Like, Pop ranges from Britney, to Lorde, to Adele, to Gaga, to Beyonce, and to Taylor in this industry. All of which are completely different artists, but all are considered "pop" artists
