If 1989 is pop, does that mean no more Red, Sparks Fly and The Last Time? That bitch better not ruin her sound
Shake It Off is cute, I bop to it but I think it will age badly with me
I'd imagine so, especially since the majority of the record is written / produced with Max Martin and Shellback. At least Taylor has four records full of flawless songs like that to listen to though. I'm glad that she is experimenting with a new sound. It's not like her talent is going away anytime soon, if it doesn't work out she can always go back to country and country-pop.
Btw, SIO is the perfect lead single regardless of how it performs on the charts. Everyone has an opinion about it (good or bad, there's literally no in between) and Lord got everyone talking about it. + The fact that there's a little 'controversy' around the video about racism probably made a lot of people from the urban community watch the video and while watching it some of them agreed with those ignorant comments, some of them saw that there was literally nothing offensive and maybe liked the song. They also gave The Lord them streaming points which could secure her #1 debut on the Hot 100 next week so it's really a win-win situation here.
Responding with "a haters gonna hate" seem so immature.
Is that what Lord is teaching 12 yo? To shake it off and block even a smidgen of criticism? Not a very good role model if so.
Okay I'm done for night. Will save some for tomorrow and every other day until album release.
Sheeran, the English singer-songwriter who once opened shows for Swift's Red tour, told USA Today that a country collaboration with the guys from Florida Georgia Line isn't all that far-fetched.
According to the newspaper, Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have asked Sheeran to record with them.

Not you thinking I was responding to you. I didn't even care. Was just bopping to SIO
You are going too much further my dear. Chill out, take a breath, stop thinking and enjoy what she is releasing NOW.. She isn't 50, she's still Young.. she has so many years ahead to do country, indie, alternative rock or whatever!
He wrote this article about her in October 2012 for Red, and another one for Speak Now in 2010, but can't find anything since. Something must be coming from him again.

There's more coming? You're going to my ignore list bye

I'm just underwhelmed by that announcement, I hope It's good tho, I'd like to experience pop songs with Taylor's writing (I hope not all of them are like Shake It Off), I think It'll be good.
