You're wrong. It's a song about dealing with her homosexuality. Obviously no one helped her write this song, bc they couldn't express the feelings of a gay woman.

I talked to a musician friend, thinking he would have hated Shake it off because he's not that into pop music, he's more of a rock guy. I was surprised when he told me he loved it. Hope this means plenty of non-fans will buy this.

My brother hates Taylor, yet he recently started listening to her music. I saw him bopping to Red. I sent him the link to Shake It Off and he called Taylor a "sell-out" and added: "Wow. Now she's even dancing. She'll do everything for money".

I have such a faith in her, i can't explain why.. maybe it's due to the fact i never cared about the genre that much, i would love Love Story the same if it was alternative rock.
I care about lyrics, the message that Taylor wants to say and until now she NEVER failed to do it. She can write fun songs, but still have a message and a meaning to her.. that's the most important thing.. WANEGBT, 22, Trouble and this new one are DIFFERENT from This Is How We Do, Last Friday Night... those are just SONGS, catchy songs to dance on them with your friends on a sleepover thing.. But Taylor's pop songs can make you think, analyze the lyrics..what she wanted to say and then you can relate to them..
When she explained the concept of the album i got chills, she has this capacity of seeing the depth even in the most banal thing.. I know, i'm 100000000000% sure that the album is full of gems!

What you said are so true. Even WANEGBT, her song I hate the most has meaningful lyrics behind it Most pop tarts write about wanting to have fun, go clubbing, **** dudes etc but her pop songs have very meaningful lyrics
