Paramore debuted high! Most songs that have downloads as low as there's only debut top 60 or top 50.

Does anyone know how they debuted so high? I mean, I know there airplay's not that high.

Actually, between 2001 and 2005 the Hot 100 was basically an airplay chart. Just saying.

Their alternative audience is 3.5 million. Usually, songs that have low downloads don't even get to 3.5 yet. Z100 has added this, so their audience will increase dramatically within the next two weeks.

Don't forget physical singles. So, not really.

Yes, those years had Physical Singles, but those weren't as high sales as digital sales are today. Actually, physical sales weren't selling that well in those years, which is why Billboard started adding in digital sales, because they were so much higher. Nowadays, most artists don't release physical singles. The last one I ever remember seeing in stores was Beyonce's "Deja Vu", and the one before that? Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle". Pretty sad, huh? But if you check out the Hot 100 and hot 100 airplay for those years, there's not much difference.
