There's one Kanye. We don't need another one. But yeah, he was cute for a little while.
I think he has his own lane now. Kanye's up to doing whatever, while Lupe can always be counted on to deliver quality. The Cool is one of the best albums of the millennium.
Diana is nowhere near as revered as Aretha, even during their heydey. Diana was able to obtain more success because she appealed to white audiences, but I'd say that even white people respected Aretha more and still do.
Beyonce and Katy use Payola in all fields. Does anyone remember that 100 Prism review? Unless it was written by one of those kitty stans who have sings where each letter is a color, it must have been payola
The reviewer was a girl and not some grumpy 30-something year old man who can't get laid.
I mean she's kind of who Katy probably writes for, so maybe she was a fan?
Yes! Don't worry though, it will actually be good. Stephen Hillenburg will be coming back (he left after the first movie iirc) and I believe they will end the show for good with it.

90s RnB really dominated from the beginning to the end of that decade. It was amazing to see it evolve.
Too bad it was overshadowed in terms of impact by grunge/alternative and gangster rap.
Wish we could recapture that moment again. *sigh*
New Jack Swing's impact was HUGE, though. But that was a late '80s trend going into the '90s. Then Mary came with her harder sound and Jodeci with their nasty songs.
I think the lack of credit is due to their lack of longevity and they didn't have didn't really branch out like the other groups.
Lack of longevity? They ran for as long as most girl groups. TLC and Destiny's Child really only had six or so years of glory days, same as En Vogue. So, I'll stick with my theory.

En Vogue had four years on top nd only one big era . Their last hit was a one off single. TLC had two huge eras and DC lasted almost a decade.
