Gaming's been on somewhat of a standstill lately...

It's not just the summer, though. This year in general hasn't been that great for gaming, especially considering the fact that we have 2 new consoles.

I bought Fuse when the price dropped down to £5. It's a cute 3ps. Definitely not worth the initial £40. Only problem is, a squad must have 4 players, and I only have 2 friends to play it with. The coms aren't always capable so that becomes annoying, especially when trying to perform stealth kills on story mode. The com just goes in gun blazing, and alerts all the enemies. It decreases the quality of play.

But they have mode called Echelon with like 8 maps. It's basically like survival/Resident Evil mercenaries/ hoard mode but the have a twist every single wave. That is where the game and it's co op features really shine.

This year has been of the worst years for game releases.

Hardly any good games come out for new consoles within the first year. Fall and Winter should be a little better though.

not when lightning returns and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD came out. The Destiny Beta slayed me and COD Advanced warfare and The evil within are coming out this year too.

Got a PS3 as a surprise for my birthday So far I only have Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD (already almost Platinum'd on PSV) and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 (yassssssss).

If you have friends, go with the Wii U. The PS4 games so far are beyond terrible and the only thing worthwhile is the remaster of TLOU. Wii U has great games and actually has more good games coming this year (Smash Bros 4, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, etc.).
