From a typographical perspective, the reason, in this case, that Jennifer Lawrence's name is below Bradley Cooper's name is because the design of the advertisement wants to convey that Jennifer Lawrence IS Serena, so they wanted her name directly above the title of the film, so that the eye travels directly from Lawrence's name to "Serena," as opposed to having Lawrence's name in the middle or at the top
away from the "Serena" title, making the connection more difficult for the passing viewer.
