I'm guessing you didn't actually read the post. Nowhere in it did I rag on Katy. Rather, I simply question her team's marketing skills as of current. Seven of Katy's songs are actually part of my all time favorite songs. Please don't classify me a Katy hater right off the bat. Not everyone that offers constructive criticism is a hater, and just because Gaga is the only person I stan for doesn't mean I can like material from other artists.

She's fading. She's had her peak @ TD and now the only logical way is down.

It was reported before that she had a new team so maybe that's the reason why in this era, they have a different approach.

It's pretty obvious that with TD the amount of money spent on promoting the actual music compared to this era is a major fact. Unlike TD Katy has a massive tour that could gross over 200mil last time she grossed 60, the label and her team have clearly made the decision that, that is where most of the effort is going and that the tour will make up for any shortcoming(I doubt there are any) with the album/single sales. Sure, sales could be higher but I doubt anybody cares that much.

Her team did the best they could with the...material given to them. Prisms singles were just not as good as Teenage Dreams.
