CATHEDRALS: THE REMIXES
(Extended play with remixes and a feature)
Cathedrals (featuring The 1975)
Cathedrals (Electric Bodega Remix)
Cathedrals (MeLoX Remix)
Cathedrals (Dave Audé Remix)
Released today to iTunes was an extended play of Taylor Swift's brand new single 'Cathedrals'. The song serves as the second single from Taylor's newly released album 'Electric Princess', which could very well debut at the top spot this week if all goes well for the singer and her record label. The single follows up the number one lead single 'Loverboy' which peaked at the summit of the chart in it's second week, besting it's first week numbers. A feat that's incredibly rare for a single in the modern music industry. We talked with Taylor Swift about the success of the lead a single and what she expects from the second single in a short interview after she'd finished her promotional slot on The Today Show. "We're not really focusing in the single's sales anymore. It's all about selling the album to us. My last albums have spawned almost all platinum singles. In a way those singles overshadowed the actual album I put out. This album needs to be different. So every week there will most likely be a new single or promotional single to really help push the album's sales. Plus, every song from this record deserves to be a single, I think. Why not get as many singles out there as I can. It may seem a little dumb putting out these quick lil singles but I sell albums not singles. I need to get this album the best sales it can get." It seems as if Taylor put some halt on the album promotion today to promote the Giorgio Moroder produced 'Cathedrals'.
The extended play includes four remixes of the mid tempo disco fused song that's full of guitars and synths that sound straight out of the 70s to late eighties. The first song featured on the extended play is the song in it's original version but with more rock influences and features a feature from British indie rock band, The 1975. Taylor recorded the duet version with them about a month ago, right before she'd started finalizing Electric Princess. The songs is split inhales between Taylor and Matthew, Taylor covered the first verse and chorus, Matthew the second verse and chorus, and the two then sing the rest of the song together. "I have visions of how I want a song or remix of my song to sound. With a song like 'Cathedrals' I wanted a rock voice to be on it with me. A rock voice that had a bit pop a pop tone to it. I thought The 1975. They're music is lovely and 'Girls' is like the best song I've heard in the past few years. Not to mention the new sound of 'Catherdrals' we brought to the table really sort of gives you a taste of what the next album will serve." The second remix on the extended play is the song without the feature, but instead it's an Electric Bodega Remix of the song. The remix gives the song more of an urban feel, containing multiple remixes and catchy repetitions. "The remix Electric Bodega was just mind blowing. It had to be on the EP."
The extended play slows down with a remix of 'Catherals' by MeLo-X. The remix slows down the song completely to almost a ballad as the first verse features mainly Swift
s vocals through a vocoder over a haunting beat. It eventually then builds up only to slow down again before it goes full out into a remix full of energy. "This remix I wasn't that sure of putting on the extended play but I'm really glad I did. It really is that contrast to the rest of the songs on it." The last remix that appears on the extended play is a remix by Dave Audé. It turns the song into a complete EDM song with a monster hook and chorus that's sure to take over the clubs. "I am the farthest thing from a huge EDM fan but when I heard this along with his remix of Hilary Duff's 'Chasing The Sun', I knew this had to be on the extended play." Taylor spoke about the extended play in a little video where she spoke about the extended play track by track. The extended play is now available on iTunes along with the Taylor's seventh studio album 'Electric Princess' and her the original version of 'Cathedrals'.

Night Eleven
Britney Spears embarks on her “Naughty Girl” stadium tour to promote her new album “American Dream” as the tour is filled with tracks off the album. The tour follows Britney’s life from the “Dreaming Days” before fame to the “Hollywood Babe” of Britney in her prime, to her “Rebellious Heart” and troubles of the past year and to her current “Naughty Girl” style as she embarks on the current era of her career. The tour is filled with incredible visuals and effects, the interludes are beautiful and sexy. Britney stuns in her outfits as her body is on point, the choreography is incredible and the stage features are amazing. Britney uses several flying platforms and additional stage platforms that rise up high in the air so the whole audience can catch a glimpse of her. Several fire/water effects are used as huge light shows create a technically advanced feel for the tour. Britney pushes the limits and even ties her herself up in a glass box of water to open the “Rebellious Heart” set, she bangs against the glass frame as she tries to escape, scaring the life out of fans in the stadium as she purposely panics. The costumes are sexy and scandalous and leave little to the imagination, Britney certainly pulled out all the stops for this tour as it truly is her biggest production yet.

HBO and Pepsi Co. Presents...
THE HIGH PRINCESS LADY GAGA'S EXTRAVAGANT PARTYNAUSEOUS PEPSI BALL LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

Madeon opens the show with an electric and energetic DJ set.
The stage is red, the props and dancer's costumes are white, and the runway is blue (with fibre optic red footprints). A giant Pepsi logo ball is in the middle of the MSG arena.
INTRO:
My name is Lady Gaga
I am your royal highness
Bow down to the Princess of High
Bow down to the Princess of Fame
Who's already high?
Who's ready to get PARTYNAUSEOUS?
Welcome to the Pepsi Ball.
1. BURQA
The screen in the back is playing the music video for Burqa. The song plays and the crowd, host to A-Listers such as Cara Delevigne, Lindsay Lohan, Donatella Versace, The Kardashians and Kanye West and Jay-Z, Beyonce and Blue Ivy are pumped to see Lady Gaga perform at this first-come-first serve, free admission surprise concert. The dancers strut down the runway. In the background is a white sheet where Gaga's silhouette is shown. In the final part of the song the sheet drops.
Gaga is stood on the balcony in a pink veil.

She rips it off to reveal this:

Gaga throws the knife at the Pepsi ball and bursts out Pepsi Max and money onto the crowd.
"Now where in the WORLD is my disco stick?"
2. THE FAME MEDLEY - LoveGame, Just Dance, Poker Face (w/ Space Cowboy Remix), Beautiful Dirty Rich and Paparazzi
Gaga comes down on a giant black disco stick and performs with it in hand whilst singing and doing the choreo to LoveGame.
She has taken her mouth piece of now and is in the black jacket and trouser ensemble.
Gaga gets out a blood splattered keytar for Just Dance. She then performs Poker Face acoustic on the Keytar and then the remxi outro kicks in and she dances her ass off. Then onto Beautiful Dirty Rich as she throws more money into the audience and spits it out at them. At the final phase of this 6 minute mega mash of The Fame, a giant camera comes down and snaps pictures at Gaga and she smashes it with her disco stick.
"Now are you ready to her my new album? COME ON!"
3. SHALLOW WORLD
Gaga is now stripped down to this:

Her hair and makeup team crowd her in dismorphed masks as she performs her now song and attempt to beautify her. At the songs finale she attacks them and beats them and mascara black tears fall down her face in this dramatic performance.
Then her dancers make her drink something and drag her to the runway.
4. NOTHING ON (BUT THE RADIO)
Gaga performs like a machine and dances her butt of to this dance pop, radio friendly bop. She puts on a scarily fake smile on the whole time. Her GagaDoll's join hear wearing the exact same costume and singing and dancing along with her.
5. PRIVATE IN PUBLIC/TELEPHONE/VIDEO PHONE
The song starts and Gaga is singing with her lipstick gun as she smears it onto people's face into the crowd. She gets a MASSIVE machine gun and shoots it. "KILL 'EM HONEY BEY"
BEYONCE pops out of the gun.
She performs her verse than they get straight into Telephone. The camera shows Jay and Blue in the crowd cheering her on.
The queens werk their choreo. Then Gaga starts singing her verse for Video Phone. Two chairs are pulled out and they dance sexily on them like in the music video. They pull out their guns at the end and shoot confetti into the audience.
6. THE ART OF FAME
Beyonce leaves the stage and says goodbye to the crowd.
Gaga performs this extravagant number alongside her band at the piano. The screen shows icons and legends like Whitney Houston, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, etc. in their most iconic and remembered moments.
7. TEA
Gaga brings out RuPaul for this performance and they both perform the song together. At the end they strut down the runway like the true queens they are.
8. MISTRESS OF THE RUNWAY/SLAVE TO THE DANCEFLOOR/FASHION! (w/ Fashion (2009) Outro)
Mother Monster and Mother Ru stop at the end of the runway and perform this fabulous medley together. They strut up and down the runway with Gaga's dancers. They bring up some people from the crowd in Fashion! and Gaga's hair and makeup team come out and alongside RuPaul and Gaga, give them fabulous drag makeovers! The lucky fans get to strut down the runway with the two queens
9. IN LIKE WITH YOU
RuPaul leaves the stage. Gaga performs this sweet yet strong number sitting at the edge of the stage with her fans acapella. She brings up even more fans and her monsters throw gifts at her and she opens them whilst singing this heartfelt ballad.
10. PRINCESS HIGH/MARY JANE HOLLAND
Azealia Banks comes down in a weed leaf to perform this song, dressed as a Disney style cannabis princess. They rave together with glow sticks and perform the song and the choreography together. They get on an Aladdin-style weed magic carpet and fly above the audience. Weed leaf confetti goes everywhere at the end of MJH.
11. FADED
The Weeknd comes out to perform this urban ballad collab with Gaga. It gets tense and emotional. They both sit on chairs back to back. Gaga tears up at the end of this song but quickly comes back to form for her next bop.
12. #FLOP
Gaga slays this performance and dances her way through it but falls of stage at the end (on purpose)
13. SIRE
Gaga performs this song acoustically and dedicates it to Michael Jackson. She tears up at the end.
14. PRINCESS DIE/THE EDGE OF GLORY
Gaga performs this mellow number acoustically too. The screen shows fallen stars like Princess Diana, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Kurt Cobain etc.
"God bless you all"
She then performs The Edge Of Glory to lighten it up a bit. The saxophone solo plays in memory of Clarence Clemons.
15. GYPSY
She starts this off acoustically but it eventually moves into the studio version and Gaga dances to it. She brings Taylor and Asia on stage and breaks down crying.
16. APPLAUSE
Gaga performs this and slays the choreo. She does the VMA wig change thing. She exits the stage at the end.
"GOOD NIGHT YOU LITTLE MONSTERS!"
Encore:
Gaga changes into this:

17. Dance In The Dark/Bad Romance/Alejandro
SPEECH:
All my little monsters are going YAAAAAASSS GAGA! YOU FINALLY PERFORMED DANCE IN THE DARK. I love my fans and the past year or so hasn't been great for me. I love you with all my heart and that's why I want to tell you that.. I'm engaged! *puts up finger and shows ring* *does Single Ladies dance* *laughs* LET'S GO!
18.G.U.Y /DO WHAT U WANT
A fountain comes down for G.U.Y. and Gaga splashes around in it. She has stripped down to her underwear.
Christina Aguilera comes on stage to perform DWUW with Gaga. They both get erotic in the fountain and start booty popping in the water.
19. BORN THIS WAY MEDLEY: Judas, You & I, Hair, Born This Way
Gaga does an energetic and crazy performance of Judas which goes into You & I, which she performs part of on the piano with her band. She than performs Hair acapella and the whole crowd sings along. She then performs Born This Way and waves a rainbow flag to promote LGBT rights.
20. PARTYNAUSEOUS
Gaga changes to a green wig and stribs to her fishnets and nipple pasties

Rave lights, strobe lights, any and every lights are everywhere for this performance. All the special guests, Christina, Azealia, RuPaul, Beyonce, The Weeknd, her fianceeTaylor Kinney and of course Asia come back on stage and party with Gaga.
21. Marry The Night
Gaga goes all over the stage - the main part, the balcony, the runway and performs Marry The Night. She performs the breakdown with the Keytar and stage dives. She then gets back up on stage.
"NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELVES MONSTERS! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! YOU CAN ALL ACHEIVE ANYTHING YOU WANT! THANK YOU HBO! THANK YOU PEPSI! THANK YOU MONSTERS! GOOD NIGHT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN! NEW YORK TILL I DIE!"
Gaga leaves the stage along with her dancers and the curtains drop. The end of an iconic concert that managed to bring in 1.9 million viewers and up to 5 million altogether worldwide. This was definitely a night to remember.
