Pixie Lott visit Graham Norton show to talk about her new album and performs exclusive song from it.



A few days ago, while being in UK, pop starlet Pixie Victoria Lott (full name) stopped by bbc studios, to be on Graham Norton’s show. She sat on Graham’s red couch with some other names of Hollywood including: Meryl Streep, Scarlett Johansson and Bradley Cooper. Pixie Lott was the last guest to come and sit on the couch, she first of all performed her song, and then came to couch, and was interviewed by Graham Norton, she did seem to happy a good time, and she looked really happy, and all. She was just feeling energetic, and was ready to talk about her album. Whenever Graham mentioned her album she cracked a smile, because it meant so much to her, little Queen and her little album, Graham said. He also really liked her performance of her song “I Have Nothing” a song that talks about girl, who literally has nothing, as was cheated on by her boyfriend, and was sold to prostitutes house, and now is being done really bad by man, it’s just a really emotional song, and Pixie was even more emotional when she was singing it. The performance from Pixie was really simple, on stage there were three podiums, one for Pixie, and two for her two back-up singers. The performance was really simple, because Pixie wanted it keep it that way. She thinks that performance should showcase the voice, and what you can do with it. She really showed how beautiful her voice is, and how she perfectly can control it. Especially on such an emotional and full of high notes song like “I Have Nothing” There were black lights, and Pixie with her dancers were in the spotlight, it seemed like they are perfoming in a empty dark space, suddenly a lot of beautiful background appeared behind them, like flower fields, and more. It was just really beautiful, and touching. Overall it was a beautiful and touching performance, as I said. Pixie in the end thanked the audience, and Graham came, and hugged her, he then took her hand and walked to the couch with her, where he interviewed her about her album.

Graham: hello Pixie, you look beautiful, and you’re performance was very nice, beautiful voice you have. But let’s get back to business, you just dropped your new album out of nowhere. Have you all heard Pixie’s new album “Trapped In Flashbacks” ? Why did you dropped it without any promo?
Pixie: hello, hi everybody! (in cheeky voice) Thank you so much, I really wanted to do something simple, and nice, so I’m happy that you liked it. Well, I worked really hard on the album, and my label thought that it would be a great idea to release it in secret so we just went for it, and result is pretty great so far, I’m loving all the positive reviews, and I especially happy that my fans like it, all that matters.
Graham: the album how did you started it, and when, and why?
Pixie: Well I was very depressed when my two latest efforts “Young Foolish Happy” and “Pixie Lott” flopped due to the lack of support from radio, and label itself, so I parted way with mercury labels, and joined new label, and we started working on the album, it’s been a long process, but I loved it. I sat in studio like all the time, I even slept there, just for you guys. It came out naturally because I had so many feeling, and unanswered questions, so I expressed myself in this records, and now I’m satisfied, and can live normally again, my schedule is a bit packed this week, but I’m not complaining.
Graham: Well I love the album. Any singles, videos coming from it?
Pixie: Well, of course at some point, I’m currently promoting the album, but singles will come just wait, I want my album to do well first, then we’ll be able to talk about singles and videos, but my label has some plans, I myself have some so it’s all in future. And thanks by the way.
Graham: Your style of music btw is so good, it’s not some bubblegum pop or something, you actually gave us a fantastic electro pop record, and we just love how we get lost in the sound and can feel relaxed it’s just so good.
Pixie: Thanks, Graham i always wanted to be different and finally I can be, I worked on my music hard just to show the world who I really am, and now I’m just in paradise, I actually love my album myself, do I sound a bit overtop?
Graham: Not at all you have every right to be in love, this album really showed how good and talented you are not a lot knew that, and now they do so it’s all good!
Pixie: Thanks for support and understanding, I never knew how much fans this will bring me, but let me tell you I never expected this, I have never expected to be on top of itunes charts in countries like US, Canada, Australia and etc, it’s just amazing, I’m in sweet shock, and I’m just very very happy and thrilled about this.
Graham: Well you truly deserve it Pixie, you worked so hard, and you’re work paid off, which is nice, because if you would have flopped it would have been sad, am I right?
Pixie: I would have been a little disappointed, because 3 flops in a row, come one, I would have quit music world, and just done modelling, but now never, I will stay with music, and will have passion and motivation to make more.

So that’s all I guess, Graham said. Pixie Lott thanked for a lovely interview, she stood up, and hugged him, then they drank some coffee, talked with other celebs, played red chair game, and the show ended. Pixie went outside where fans we’re waiting and she enjoyed their love.
