Its not that easy, for one barely any if any songs in the #41-#50 section will debut on the AT40(they most likely wont). And the single would have to get a little higher in the #30-#35 region sinse AT40 plays recurrents that are still on the chart but arnt shown on the mediabase current chart, and it usually takes about 2 weeks for a song once they get into that region to debut...

So if the Veronica's or any song for that matters wants a AT40 boost, than they'd have to get up into the 30-35/40 area for at least 2 weeks+.

I hate AT 40. Why can't we have a countdown that is just the Mediabase top 50 or 40? It would be much simpler and easier to understand.

Well actually I wasn't referring to getting it to debut on AT40. One of the members on The Veronica boards e-mailed them asking them to play "Untouched" during the Break Out Segment and this is what they said:

Thank you for your email. Our company has a policy that we can only play a new song if it is approaching the Top 40 (between 41-50), and then we can play it in our “Break Out” segment. Right now, it's only at #60. If it keeps climbing in the next few weeks, we'll be able to play it.

So as you can see, if it gets into the Top 50, we can get them on their Break Out Segment and that would get Untouched's bullet to increase and get more radio stations to add the single.
