Don't belittle Beyonce's presence in that girl group. She might not have been like Nicole with PCD, but she almost single-handedly ran that whole show.

Her debut album went 2x platinum in the US with no real promo and 1 legit single and sold 7 million copies ww that is successful.

OT: IASF is the only Bey album I didn't buy, I listened to it visiting a friend and it is her worst album imo I'm glad she didn't win that award for that otherwise she probably would have made more albums like It.

Beyoncé =/= Destiny's Child and Taylor is at a disadvantage when you compare her to Beyoncé because she has less albums and debuted less than a decade ago but she still easily wins.

She's at a disadvantage because she hasn't had a third of the impact and overall success as Beyonce.

Taylor will not be remembered like Beyonce. Hell, people complain about how annoying Taylor's songs get just days after they first bought them on iTunes.

IASF was more of a conventional pop album. It wasn't much more than that, it's what she needed at the time to re-peak.

If they really only felt bad for her, why wouldn't they have given her one of the smaller categories she was nominated in as a consolation prize as opposed to the BIGGEST honor in music?

Even with her AOTY and 1 million openings, Taylor will always be less respected and less successful than Beyoncé. That's a fact and you all know it.
I'm not saying that Taylor is successful and respected or that she doesn't have a place in pop culture but she'll always be below her

You have absolutely no basis for this claim I'm not going to say Beyonce is above or below Taylor, because They both have wildly successful careers with critical acclaim and respect. I love both, but you can't act like Taylor has no chance of topping Beyonce. Her album sales are more consistant than Beyonce's, and she has more critical acclaim than Beyonce overall.

IASF is not a good album. Period. The I Am... side of the album is the definition of anodyne, and the Sasha Fierce side lacks the punchy production and raunchiness that we would come to see on her self titled. Beyoncé was capable of much more and moved onto better things.

Fearless is well written and cohesive album, something the other nominees were not. That's why it won, not because of some stupid narrative yall come up with.

Ewwww at you saying 4 is Beyonce's best album, I mean that's CRAZY. Nothing will ever really top B'Day, that album was effortlessly a classic album from start to finish.
