Because Taylor Swift winning would have garnered a greater reaction from younger demographics, whom the Grammys had largely failed to reach and connect with. We all know who the real winner was.
Taylor?
Also are you implying that Beyonce is only liked by old people?
Did he lie though? Maybe a little white lie, it might be slightly ahead of DiL (I think metacritic even agrees last time i checked). And it still garnered 6 Grammy wins, the most of the night, so
IASF wasn't a very good album. The hive is willing to say this too as most people (not me because I think it's better than DIL) think IASF is Bey's weakest album.
Are you implying that Taylor's average listener isn't younger than Beyonce's?
Yes? I mean, Taylor's loved by people of all ages. She'd have to be considering her last 3 albums outsold Beyonce's last three Albums. Or is Beyonce just less popular in general?

Not really. The majority of the pre-teen-early twenty range find Taylor to be annoying or just like to make jokes about how she's slept with half of Hollywood.

Uh no??
A less risqué country-pop singer that sings immature angst anthems against ex-boyfriends is pretty much set to sell more albums to teenaged girls.
I think the difference in quality between Taylor's worst and best is less wide than the gap between IASF and Beyoncé's best. Like it really lets her discography down in parts.

You have absolutely no basis for those claims. Where is your PROOF? Where are the STATISTICS?
