"Shower" being a rap song Was Ke$ha's music categorized as rap? "Shower" is exactly like any of Ke$ha's pop rap songs, if Billboard didn't categorize those as rap then this is a clear case of racial profiling.

'Timber' is the 2nd longest running #1 in Hot Rap Songs history.
That chart particularly has always been **** though.
Ugh. This what we have to look forward to...Becky G, Iggy, Azealia Banks and Nicki Minaj (and even with her ups and downs, I hate putting Nicki in this bunch because she is a beast when she wants to be, but...).
Missy, Kim, Foxy, Queen, Trina, Salt-n-Pepa, Eve, etc. were all infinitely better these crop of girls.

JunglePussy slays everyone mentioned in this post.
Iggy blew up because she is cheap and commercial. Azealia has too much artistic integrity to hop on a generic beat like "Fancy" with a bland, toothless hook from a white girl. She is a true auteur and the industry and public weren't ready for her. She will have her time someday.
I feel the hate Azealia gets is mostly due to her attitude rather than her music. And when people do hate her for the music all they've heard is 212 and ATM Jam. Go listen to Runnin' or Nathan. Banks has a sick flow.
Azealia is too busy on Twitter sending links to magazines and websites trying to prove that she's worth anything. She ain't putting out any new music any time soon.
