102.7 KIIS FM Interview
Taylor Swift's been everywhere these past few weeks promoting her projects that have been as usual, major successes for the singer-songwriter. We mean the singer has been almost everywhere. From Europe, to Australia, to Asia, there seems to be nowhere the singer hasn't travelled promoting. This includes radio promotion as the singer has been on almost every station except one. That one being 102.7 KIIS FM. Taylor Swift missed one station and it weirdly had to be the biggest one. Taylor was live on 102.7 KIIS FM where she talked about her single 'Gunshots' with Zendaya and more about that upcoming disco album which we are all eagerly waiting for.
About 'Gunshots' and it's success:
The song really has been a blessing in disguise. You know Zendaya is very new to music and you don't always have instant success when you first start. My debut album sold 40,000 first week and then my next album sold 500,000 copies first week. That doesn't always happen. So when we got the news the song went number one with like six hundred thousand copies we were really surprised. It's the highest first week sales for our career. I'm glad to say it's probably my most successful collaboration yet. The song too is just an amazing song about standing up and fighting back too. Sometimes life knocks you down and you just have to fight back.
About her tour:
This tour is probably the most hectic I've been on. I was forced to start it early because if I hadn't I wouldn't be able to tour so many venues in Asia because of future construction. But the setlist is going to change as soon as the new album comes out. I wish I didn't have to do it that way but you just have to sometimes, you know? But the tour is definitely one of my biggest to date and I think people will be really excited for what's to come for it. The whole theme of the tour will change
About fashion:
Fashion hasn't really a big deal to me until this year really. I used to let people dress me and I was reading one day that people thought I could do so much more fashion wise. I knew this too but I was just a lazy ass and did nothing. But I went shopping and found out that I really like dressing up. So I've been doing it more often. I wear what I feel sexy and confident in. All women should wear what they feel confident in.
About her upcoming album:
My next album is going to be quite the change for me and everyone really. It's like the complete opposite to what I have out now. This album is very 70s disco meets 90s Rock. I think people will be a little surprised by how different it is. It's very Donna Summer meets Blondie. I worked with some really amazing people on it and I actually have my last studio session for it today. So it's coming really really really soon. Keep an eye out for it.

Kesha arrives in Mexico, performs at Cabo San Lucas' BeachFest
Kesha was seen arriving at Mexico's Aeródromo Internacional de Cabo San Lucas this morning, sporting bright pink hair, a black outfit consisting of leather pants, a loose fitting sleeveless top and a fashionable hat, along with a pair of sunglasses, a golden bracelet, an overside turqoise ring and a smile from ear to ear.

The singer went back to her hotel to prepare for her gig at BeachFest, a popular beach party with over 20.000 people attending each year. Kesha headlined the gig as the party chick of our generation.
She started her performance at 3am, right after Martin Garrix performed a set at the beach. Everybody was still pumped from his set, so Kesha could go straight into her pop bangers.
She started off with party anthems 'Blow' and 'Take It Off' to get the crowd on the tips of their toes to see more. As she performed some difficult choreography, Kesha moved on to her most recent hit single 'Beautiful Mess'. However she did not perform the regular version, but decided to perform the Martin Garrix Club Edit. The 5:04 long Martin Garrix Club Edit features several extra breakdowns and extra adlibs by Kesha herself. The hard core choreography performed during the breakdowns takes Kesha's performance to a whole other level.
The 27-year old then moved on to perform a bunch of slower songs, starting with 'Dancing With Tears In My Eyes', then moving on to 'Past Lives' and ending her set with the fitting 'Hungover' as she concluded her set.
However the crowd was wanting more and ultimately Kesha gave in and ordered her team to start playing Timber as she performed the solo version of the song. Kesha then thanked the public for their love and attention and told them how amazing they were. She wished them all a great holiday and announced it was time for her to go and welcome Usher to the stage.

The Diet Coke Sessions
Taylor Swift's emdrosement with Diet Coke has been going for over three years now and it seems that it won't be ending anytime soon as Taylor Swift recently did an exclusive and one time live session for them. Taylor was in a recording studio in London for the set where she wore a black blazer and black dress pants with some louboutins, topping it off with cherry red lipstick. "I'm Taylor Swift and right now I'm going to give a special live session for Diet Coke. I hope you guys enjoy and go grab a diet coke if you want while you watch. I love you all and thank you." Swift's live set was absoultely stunning as the she sang in the studio completely live, with a track and sometimes her guitar which she played. The audio quality was absolutely flawless as you saw Taylor serve raw vocals and see how she is in the studio. To many's surprise Taylor performed ten songs, four of them being old songs, including ones from her debut album which she never used to play.

Looking stunning in her new remix music video, "Libidinous Dream", Mariah Carey was revealed to be interviewed in the upcoming issue for Ahlan! Magazine which is only found in Dubai. The hashtag #MCAhlan! was trending for 10 hours after it was revealed that Mariah will be interviewed by Ahlan! Magazine. The five-time Grammy-winning diva is back with a new album, "The Stygian Chevalier". But music aside - she's already sold more then 200 million albums worldwide and had 18 number one hit singles in the US - Mariah Carey is showing no signs of slowing down. Instead, the 45-year-old star, who's just become the face of The Ostrich Pillow and the Stand Up To Cancer commercial, seems to be vying to get her superstar crown back with a new movie, Resident Evil 6 and perfume while the fashion line and world tour is currently in the works. Ahlan! sat down with Mimi to find out how she got her fab new body...
Q: You look great!
MC: Well, I have a personal trainer to torture me. Actually my trainer, my water aerobics teacher and my chef are all the same woman. She's French, her name is Patricia and she's very strict. If I want a snack and she's in the kitchen, I know she's going to give me something really bleak to eat. I have to send someone else down for me and sneak something up.
Q: What is your craziest diet secret?
MC: I haven't got one - there is none. I've done the diet where it's just soups and juice, but I didn't do that for very long. I'm a flavourable girl. I like ice cream and stuff.
Q: Surely you must have one diet tip...
MC: The only secret I have is one that Patricia told me. Don't eat salads before you have to go somewhere because it bloats you. The salad retains water, so it's better to have a plate of grilled vegetables.
Q: Do you think that you're a fashion icon?
MC: It's very hard to see myself as anything except just me.
Q: Do you ever have days when you don't like what you see?
MC: Well, I definitely don't feel perfect when I wake up in the mornings. I look in the mirror and I really just want to go back to sleep. I didn't feel pretty growing up. I'm from a mixed race family so I never really fit in.
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
MC: I've got my own style. I'm not some rich bimbo in high fashion duds. I can buy a top at a market stall for five dollars. I customize my jeans myself, add a pair of heels and I feel sexy.
Q:What is luxury to you?
MC: Free time. I have less free time than money.
Q: You're known for being quite a diva, is that behind you now?
MC: I don't think I ever was wild. If it makes people happy to say I was then so be it. There was the odd exhaustion moment which clearly now is a must in everybody's life - you can't be a celebrity these days and not go through that [laughs].
Q: So are you much of a party girl?
MC: No, not at all. When my friends are out, I'm having a quiet night in with the humidifier. It's good for the voice.
Q: How many humidifiers do you have?
MC: Quite a few actually. At my apartment I have a whole room that's like a steam room but with a bed and everything. All the furniture is waterproof and can be wiped down. There's even a TV behind glass so I can relax in there.
Q: Tell us your favourite upbeat song on the album and why.
MC: It has to be "The Stygian Chevalier" and "Mirror In The Dark. Both of these songs have a great catchy hook which traps your mind into loving it and at the same time, it is both very experimental.
Q: You've also got a movie coming out, Resident Evil 6. Do you want to do more films?
MC: I still view myself, first and foremost, as a singer, but I also find it exciting to expand my limits. I want to know if I can really act or whether people are just being kind to me because I'm such a big name in the pop world.

Josh visits Kesha in Cabo
Hollywood heartrob Josh Hutcherson is no longer single and he is eager to share that with us as he visited his girlfriend Kesha during her promotional tour for her latest single 'Beautiful Mess' in Mexico.
The pair caught up in Cabo during a walk along the beach.
The 2 showed of their beach ready body as they took a long walk while holding hands. Kesha's yellow bikini showed off her tanned skin, while Josh wore a matching boardshort with yellow flowers.
After their walk on the beach the pair headed off to Kesha's hotel room, where they prepared for their meal for the night. Josh and Kesha came out of the hotel, with Josh wearing a blue suit, with matching tie and Kesha rocking a red skintight evening dress and a classy high ponytail.
The pair ended their night by returning to the hotel and re-dressing. Kesha wore a black mini dress with matching pups, while Josh wore ripped jeans and a tight red t-shirt, showing off his impressive body. The pair left to go to Cabo Wabo to spend their evening there.
The next morning, Kesha and Josh both went to the airport. Josh went back to the US, while Kesha headed off to New Zealand to continue promoting her new single 'Beautiful Mess'. The pair shared a passionate kiss at the gate and then both went into different directions.

Mariah Carey performs and honoured on the Empire State Building
The pop star was tasked with the very important job of turning the famous monument's specially designed lights on for her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier". Joined by her team and a few lucky photographers, it looked as though the "Libidinous Dream" singer had her eye on another wedding to husband Nick Cannon. Putting her trademark curves front and centre of the eye, Mariah squeezed herself into the full length, long sleeved black gown with swarovski diamonds all over, which she wore with matching dark gloves and a grey fur stole around her shoulders. So tight was the dress, that every move the star made threatened to become a wardrobe malfunction, with her more than ample bust coming close to spilling out. Flicking the switch, the mother of two, twins Moroccan and Monroe, beamed as lighting the 1,454 feet tall building has a very special meaning to Mariah herself because Nick proposed to her 6 years ago on this same building.
Later on for the performance, Mariah wore a beautiful elegant stygian gown. Mariah wore her hair down and minimal except for some earrings and her ring. Her skin and complexion looked flawless as she posed against the backdrop of the bright city lights. As she performed "Libidinous Dream" halfway, Nick Cannon suddenly appeared and started to cheer for the chanteuse who is showing her vocals on the songs. Fueled by the unconditional love and cheering of Nick Cannon perhaps, Mariah Carey managed to belt effortlessly and did her runs in the end. A video of the live performance was later uploaded on her Vevo channel that day and it had received 2.4 million views so far.

The CMA Music Festival
Taylor Swift was announced for hte CMA Music Festival 2014 lineup to mixed reactions. Many found it weird that Taylor Swift who is considered a pop artist now was chosen as the headliner when other artists are struggling to even get a slot. In contrast to what many said Taylor was chosen by a poll by people in Nashville who should perform at the CMA Music Festival. Swift had over 134,000 votes to perform and was announced for the festival last week. Swift took to the stage tonight at the LP Field to over 70,000 people where she performed a fourteen song setlist. To many's surprise Swift performed all country songs at the Festival even giving some pop songs country arrangements like 'Gunshots' which Taylor stripped down to a country arrangement with just her guitar. "I know many of you think it's really strange that I'm playing this festival because I'm what's considered a sell out or pop artist. Sure that may be true but you know I think coming back here and playing you nothing but country songs is kind of me payng my respect to all of you and country music who.. who supported me through the beginning years of my career. I'm really thankful for country music listeners who really helped me get on the map. I've really loved every moment with you all I had years ago and I want you to know its not the last. Country music I will be back very soon. I'll never be finished with you guys. I love you." Swift's set was a major hit with the crowd as even the wild country listeners raved about her set.

Kesha visits Good Morning New Zealand
As Kesha had said goobye to her boyfriend Josh Hutcherson just hours ago in Cabo, Kesha already appeared on her next promotional appearance. This time on Good Morning New Zealand.
The singer wasn't affraid to show of her body as she wore a black minidress which hugged her figure, with matching black pumps and a golden necklace. Kesha appeared on GMNZ to give an interview and perform her latest single 'Beautiful Mess'

First of all, how are you?
Kesha:
I'm very well actually! I just came all the way from sunny Mexico for a gig, so it's kind off chilly here in comparison, but I'll manage to pull through. I'm excited to be here! It's actually my first time ever in New Zealand.

Well that's why we were so eager to get you over here! But tell us some more about your love life. I mean we all saw the newspaper headlines but we want to know everything
Kesha:
*laughs* well I won't tell you everything as I like to keep some things private but yes Josh and I are officially a couple now. We've been getting to know each other for a long time, even before I went to rehab. We were very close friends and all over sudden it happened. I had always liked him, but not as a potential boyfriend. It just sort of happened and I'm so happy it did! He's been my rock throughout this horrible period and once I left rehab we grew closer than ever. I love him and he loves me and we're just trying to work things out in between our busy schedules.
Presenter:
Yeah it must be heard, with him filimg The Hunger Games in the US, while you're here on the other side of the world promoting your single.
Kesha:
Yeah it's hard but we'll manage, I'm sure of that. I mean we call every day so it's not like we don't speak for weeks or something. I actually saw him yesterday in Mexico as he had 2 days off and came over for a day.
Presenter:
Yeah we saw those pictures. Girl don't you look amazing! Your body looks great!
Kesha:
Aw thanks! Yeah I was really thin before rehab but I've gained a little and look way more natural and happier now. I'm glad it worked out in the end.
Presenter:
Speaking of rehab. How was that for you? Was it hard?
Kesha:
The hardest part for me was admitting something was wrong with me and signing up for the rehab facility. I wanted to try and save myself first, but my mother convinced me I couldn't do this alone and I needed special help, away from all the press and action and just rest for a few months. So I didm but I signed a contract contract with MTV for my reality show, so I had to be filmed outside my therapy sessions and had to do a video diary for the time I was there. I had a rough time, but in the end it made me a better person and now I can truly be a rolemodel for young girls stuggling with their body because the press and industry set those unrealistic standards for how a body should be. It's sickening really, so I'm glad my label just let me do me, which is being healthy, working out and eating healthy.

Well that's amazing to hear! I'm really happy for you, as I've been a lowkey fan of yours for ages now. So I can't help but ask, how is the album coming along?
Kesha:
Well, we're currently finalising some features, but it's finished for the rest. I just did my cover shoot in Mexico too and the second single has been chosen.

Can you tell us something about that one?
Kesha:
Sadly I can't just yet. Next week a few announcements shall be made I promise! First I'll release the Remix EP for 'Beautiful Mess' and then we'll start gearing up for seingle #2.

And the album? When is it coming?

We haven't set a date yet, but it's early August if things go the way they are planned.

V FESTIVAL
Taylor Swift was live at this year's V Festival where she was the headlining act this Saturday. With a lineup that included artists like Katy Perry, Coldplay, Florence and The Machine, and Mumford & Sons, it was one of the most attended crowds in V Festival's history. Over 190,000 people showed up on Satuday, Taylor Swift's set having the most people there out of any of the other performers. The festival was held at Weston Park in Staffordshire, England. It is Swift's first time headlining V Festival and her first time ever performing at the festival. Swift's set called for the stage to expand as some pop up staircases and platforms were brought and installed during the change between hers and Demi Lovato's underwhelming setlist. The crowd was massive and were so excited when Swift came on set. So excited that they sang every word to every song Taylor sang. There were some new additions to Taylor's set. A cover The Killer's 'Mr Brightside' and a brand new cover of Florence & The Machine's 'Shake It Out' as well.

Kesha performs at Wellington Harbour
Kesha has performed at Wellington Harbour as part of the Wellington Festival. The singer had rented a massive boat, on which she performed a 6-song set. Ahead of her performance, big screens were put up all over the city so nobody in the city would miss the concert Kesha was about to give.

Kesha visits Australia's Million Dollar Minute
Kesha has visited Aussie game show 'Million Dollar Minute' as she was the subject of a round of questions. The 3 contestants were big fans of Kesha and claimed to know all about Kesha.
The 3 contestants were name Kelly, Marco and Ashley and didn't know Kesha was coming.

The 27-year old entered the stage in the second round of questions. Kelly, Marco and Ashley were starstruck and nervous as she hugged them and wished them good luck. Kesha was the one asking the questions and she suggested to change the buzzer to her singing the lines "beautiful mess" to fit the theme.
The frst question was about Kesha's new video. They asked where Kesha ended up meeting her ex-boyfriend, with the answer obviously being in the local bar at the oasis. Kelly was the first one to buzz and give the good answer so she gained 5 points. The question was followed by a 1 minute part of the video to show where Kesha met her ex.
Question's 2 and 3 were answered correctly by Marco, with the question asking where Kesha had been to rehab and to name 3 #1 hits by Kesha.
Question 4 consisted of Kesha's situation regarding Die Young. Why was it cut off radio's playlists? The correct answer was because of the shooting where multiple children died. Ashley answered this one correct, making it tight between the contestants.
The final question (What is Kesha's full name) was answered correctly by Marco, making him the winner of Kesha's round. After Kesha hugged the contestants goodbye and the presenter told us 'Beautiful Mess' was in stores now, Kesha left the stage and Kelly ended up winning the game.

Mariah Carey reveals Promo Tour
For Mariah Carey's promo tour, celebrating her 24 year career, a massive 9 meter wide and 25 meter long screen will be designed, incorporating 3000 of Mariah's vision of MiSTRIP LED modules. This giant backdrop flows onto the stage and beyond via both concave and convex curves to create a stunning visual element of Mariah's dark direction, which is also strong enough to be both stood and danced on. The specialists were involved in the set design from the very beginning and worked closely with Camouflage Records Video Department to design the spectacular stage.
Phil Akill, Project Manager of the Camouflage Records Video Department, states, “The project was very ambitious, demanding for extremely high resolution. So we were worried that it would not be achievable as we expected problems with the weight and reliability because of the high number of LEDs needed to reach this resolution. However, this proved to be no issue at all for the MiSTRIP. It has stood up really well to the demanding tour schedule and fulfilled a very exacting design brief." He continues: “It made us start to think of all the other applications we can use this product for. It is so modular and flexible, and has the tried and trusted Barco processing and signal distribution as the basic building blocks of the system". The MiSTRIP is a linear LED screen element, essentially a “strip of pixels”, that can be combined in any shape and quantity to make up any size and form of LED screens. Despite its sleek appearance, the MiSTRIP is structurally very strong, which made it ideal for Mariah's vision design to be realized for the Mariah Carey promo tour. The modularity of the MiSTRIP system and special mechanics developed for the show allow the lower rear part of the screen to open up, an unexpected entrance for the artist onto the stage! MiSTRIP, one of the latest creative innovations, sets a new standard for LED display technology in a wide variety of applications from large free-form video displays to architectural visual design.

Mariah thanked the fans
After the long and exhausting promotion this week, Mariah Carey posted a photo of her and her dog at the bathtub resting. She tweeted her thanks to her fans for being there with her this whole time and that the second single off her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier" will be announced tomorrow. She also stated that promotion list is currently in plan for this coming week so fans can expect something huge to come. The physical copies of "Libidinous Dream" were distributed to the fans in NYC for free because Mariah wanted to thank them for their unconditional support. "I am really excited for next week's promo and the upcoming tour dates, I cannot wait to meet ya'll", Mariah says on her Instagram video while sipping on a glass a champagne at the same time.

Kesha at New Zealand's Got Talent
Kesha has performed her latest single 'Beautiful Mess' at New Zealand's Got Talent this evening, eventhough Kesha wasn't in the country anymore. How is that possible? Well yesterday Kesha was in New Zealand and she visited the Got Talent studios and pre-recorded her acoustic performance of the song.
Kesha performed a stripped back version of 'Beautiful Mess'
The performance saw Kesha in a simple semi-seethrough black shirt (picture above) and white jeans, with nothing but a chair and a paino on stage. With the simple setting Kesha showed us all why she is on top of the popstar world right now. With amazing vocals and stage pressence Kesha blew everyone out of the water.
This is why Kesha is the best of pop world at the moment. Even with a simple staging like this, she still manages to captivate you and lure you into her performance.

KeshaVEVO: 2 new acoustic videos uploaded
Kesha has uploaded 2 new videos for her fans to enjoy onto her VEVO account: 'Beautiful Mess [Acoustic Live From Sound City Studios]' and 'Medusa [Acoustic Rihanna Cover Life From Sound City Studios]'
The first video contains an acoustic performance of Kesha's latest single 'Beautiful Mess' live from the SOund City Studios in LA. The 27-year old singer shows off her impressive pipes as she works her way through the song. Kesha's vocal performances are always on point, but this one rises above all we've seen so far

The second video contained an acoustic performance of Rihanna's hit single 'Medusa'.
At the start of the performance Kesha tells us why she chose this song to cover.
"Rihanna is one of my favourite all time artists and she's been a great inspiration with my music and style. Rihanna has that sawg and style not many people can pull off. A true ICON in my opinion. Medusa is one of her best songs so I wanted to cover that."
Kesha's performance at the Sound City Studios gave us goosebumps all over and we dare to say that it comes very close to the original.
Kesha's new single, 'Beautiful Mess', is out now on Itunes, Amazon and physical copies are available at your local supermarket.
