Mariah releases new Perfume Brand "Diamonds R Forever"
Hundreds of reporters arrived hours before the press conference even had begun just to shoot a few questions to Mariah. Different versions of "Libidinous Dream" was played before the press conference begun too. During the Perfume launch press conference, Mariah arrived wearing a figure-hugging Roberto Cavalli gown with sky-high Azzedine Alaia shoes, she shares her thoughts on the project to the reporters attending the press conference. The hashtag #MCperfume and MCdiamondsrforever was trending for the duration of the tweet and the official press conference held by Camouflage Records.
Q: How did you come up with the scent?
MC: I wanted to create a perfume is classy and strong but at the same time not overwhelming. The first time the perfumers met at my apartment we discussed 15 things that I was inspired of. So, I guess there are 15 things – I thought I was only inspired by two things this time.
Q: Did you enjoy the process?
MC: Yes. The reason I love the whole situation was because it was very similar to the creative process of making a record. Not everybody knows that I'm a songwriter and a producer, so I really love the creative process and everybody at Elizabeth Arden was so welcoming about me being involved on this level. We discussed a specific flower that I had worn when I was in Hawaii. Tiare is the flower. It's Polynesian, a type of gardenia native in Hawaii and it's never been used in this way before in a scent.
Q: What is your relationship to the Tiare flower?
MC: I really loved that scent but I didn't know the actual name. I just described it, and the Elizabeth Arden team, which knows every flower in existence, found that exact one and it was the basis. Then we talked about some gourmand elements that we wanted to go into it, the food elements. I totally forgotten how many different notes there were to building a perfume – and that you actually call them notes. So we got into it - the high note, the middle note, and the bottom note. I was like, ‘Oh, this ain't nothin' but a song!' [laughs]. “I brought in some incense that I really like that I use at home – stuff I got in Morocco on the street. I had it in this little wooden box and I guess over time it had a certain scent that nothing else had, as the bottom note. “There was another thing there – the fact that Capri as a place, also had to do with the way it smells. In Capri at night, there's honeysuckle mixed with orange blossom mixed with all these kinds of organic flowers – if you've been there, you know what I mean. It's something that you can't really pinpoint. You can't put your finger on it but it's an essence in the air and it takes you back to a place.
Q: What does the scent say about you?
MC: I don't like scents that are too green and too heavy and too masculine feeling at all – it's the opposite of that. But I don't like an older floral intense either – that's too much, too sweet, too heavy. I like the lightness and the sexiness and I like the sweet florally thing but it has to have the current of sandalwood and Moroccan incense.
Q: Did you recognise yourself when you smelled the perfume?
MC: Definitely, but it's more Bianca than Mariah (laughs). We went through so many different stages with the perfume that it really was a completely creative meeting of the minds so I was really involved in every step of the way. So, I do recognise myself. It's the only thing I can imagine wearing.
Q: How can you compare writing a song to creating a perfume?
MC: When I write songs I don't read music – we just go for the soul and for what I feel. Sometimes I'll do core progressions but sometimes I play around with things that are totally different. A song like Vision of Love is not your standard song. That was my first song that I put out when I was really young and wrote it basically when I was in high school and it's a different unique blend of things and that's what this turned out to be. For me [this] turned out to be very organic to who I am because we did something different and I just love the result because I love that Tiare flower so much and they made it happen for me.
Q: How does this perfume compare to your latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier" ??
MC: Actually it is totally inter-related. I and Bianca wanted a perfume that can compliment the songs on the album. The sweet flowery scent gives out a sensual, yet classy vibe. Kesha performs on The Voice Brasil
Kesha has performed live on Brazilian TV for the first time.
The 27-year old is currently visiting South America to promote her current single 'Beautiful Mess' and has already visited the World Cup and performed at the Dutch World Cup Party in the Heineken Holland House.
The Voice Brasil is broadcasted by TV Globo via the satellite all over the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania as well as broadcasted in Portugal, Japan and the whole of South America.
Kesha performed in front of millions of people on The Voice Brasil
Kesha was introduced via an introduction video, which included scenes from the videos of 'Tik Tok', 'Take It Off' 'Blow', 'Die Young' and 'Beautiful Mess', whilst also listing all her achievements. These achievements included Biggest selling digital single by a female artist for Tik Tok, 11 top 10 hits in the US, Gold certified single in 2 weeks with 'Beautiful Mess' and 4 #1 singles.
Kesha entered the stage in a black leather legless catsuit, black leather boots and black crown as she started singing the song. The stage was designed for Kesha as she started by walking off the stairs during the first verse. Kesha continued her flawless performance by walking on a platform in the middle of the crowd as she chanted the chorus to 'Beautiful Mess'.
As she started her second verse, 25 backup dancers joined Kesha on stage, to make give the performance some extra energy and oompf. The 2nd chorus featured some heavy choreography from Kesha and her dancers, as she kept on singing.
As Kesha moved on to the middle-8 the dancers fell down in a circle surrounding Kesha, as she sat on her knees, before bursting into a hardcore full on choreography to finish the final chorus.
Kesha's performance was answered with a standing ovation from the judges and the audience and was watched by over 10 million people.

Kesha performs on 'Bailando' Argentina
Kesha has performed live on Argentina's version of Dancing With The Stars, Bailando por un Sueño.
The 27-year old is currently visiting South America to promote her current single 'Beautiful Mess' and has already visited the World Cup and performed at the Dutch World Cup Party in the Heineken Holland House.
Kesha performed 'Beautiful Mess' in different dance styles
Kesha performed her her single in various dance styles during the final dance round as all the contestants joined her on stage to perform. Kesha wore a big white dress with red, blue and green stains on it, while sporting a stylish rainbow ponytail.
Kesha started off with the first verse in 'tango-style' as she sat on a coloured rock in the middle of the stage.
The contestants took the stage with her, as they served as Kesha's back up dancers. They danced the tango and moved on to the 'waltz' as Kesha changed up the speed and sound of her performance, leading up to the chorus.
The second verse was introduced by a acceleration to the next dance theme: The 'Cha-cha-cha'. Kesha flawlessly transitioned through the different styles, just like the contestants. One of the contestants fell in the middle of the transition from waltz to cha-cha-cha but managed to redeem herself by rocking the rest of the performance.
For the second chorus, Kesha sped up the song a little more as the contestants moved on to the 'quickstep'.
Kesha then went on to slow down the song as her own dance partner and boyfriend Josh Hutcheson came on stage and the pair joined the rest of the contestants to finish the song. During the middle-8 the group danced the 'foxtrot' and the stage exploded as they concluded the song with the final chorus as they transitioned to the 'pasodoble'.
Kesha's vocal, dancing and entertaining abilities where greeted with a standing ovation from the judges and the audience. Kesha received praise from the judges for her dancing abilities, as they jokingly rated her performance. The judges gave her an average of 8.9.

RITA ATTENDS WIRELESS FESTIVAL + TALKS WITH JOURDAN DUNN + PERFORMS 'LOSING ME' AND A BIT OF 'FIRE STARTER'
HOUR 1
Rita arrived at the Wireless Festival dressed in a DKNY fall jacket and skirt with a jewelry by Moschino and Chanel. She opted for Donna Karen wedge sandals as opposed to her usual Louboutins. With a braid running along the crown of her face and long blond ringlets, Rita was ready to let back and party. The second she arrived, tons of fans rushed to see their idol. She wasn't to perform until an hour later so she stayed and greeted her fans. After signing autographs, Rita took off for the VIP lounge where she was rumored to be Calvin Harris, her supposed new flame. She wasn't seen leaving the lounge until her set was next.
HOUR 2
At exactly 2:01pm, Rita hit the Wireless Stage. She had changed into a white Roberto Cavalli dress and AMQ boho sunglasses. She walked up to the mic, and the 70k in attendance erupted in applause and cheered for her. She decided to have a bit of fun with the crowd, so she held an impromptu sing-along with them to her new single 'Losing Me'. She yelled "After me..." and pointed to the audience. They roared back "IT'S ALL DOWNHILL". She continued this for the first verse of the song, and her live band kicked in at the pre-chorus. When she reached the chorus, the entire audience sang along with her.

You could see how pleased Rita was that they had learnt the words. She delivered the closing line of 'Losing Me' and she thanked the crowd. "This next song is a new track from my album, its called "Fire Starter". You may have heard some of it already, but the full track will be available on iTunes at midnight after the AMQ commercial its featured in is released. Her is a snippet of it, just for you guys!" The crowd quiets down, and Rita hums a melodic tune in her lower register. She whispered into the mic seductively, "Watch her prance about/She's stealing the attention of those around/Dancing, twirling, she's a charmer/But she's dangerous, a fire starter-er-er-er-er" *beat drops* She starts jumping up and down, and yells "EVERYBODY ****ING JUMP!". The crowd jumps with her and in no time they are singing along to the hook that loops thought the beat drop, "She's a fire starter". The song ends and Rita thanks the crowd once again, and they chant "WE LOVE YOU RITA". She wipes a tear off her face, bows one more time and then leaves the stage after her 40 minute set.
HOUR 3
After headlining the biggest Wireless stage, Rita went inside the Bluuu Tent for her interview with top model Jourdan Dunn. They sat down on the blush red heart-shaped sofas and began.
Nice to see you again, Rita! I haven't seen you since the Moschino show last february. How've you been?
Busy, very, very busy, haha. I've been working on my new album since then and organizing the world tour I plan on embarking on following its release.
I'm sure they love you too! Confgratulations on your new single 'Losing Me' which has been atop the iTunes Charts since Monday. Any thing you can tell us about your new album?
I can officially confirm that the awesome Zendaya will be featured on one of the songs, and I have a lot more surprises in store for the RITARDS.
This has been a busy week for you, what with all your promotion and your new AMQ and Pepsi campaigns. How do you remain grounded?
My fans support me where ever I go. It helps me to keep on doing what I'm doing. I don't know where I'd be without them, so i truly appreciate all my RITARDS.
Can you confirm that you will be dropping two new music videos today for 'Losing Me'?
Yes! That is true. The lyric video will be coming in an hour and the actually video will be released later tonight. The first of three AMQ commercials will be premiering tonight and I will be releasing 'Fire Starter', the song featured in the commercial, along with it. So my fans have a LOT to look forward to today!

Kesha performs at Buenos Aires Live
27-year old pop star has headlined the annual Buenos Aires Live Festival, alongside The Saturdays, Pitbull and Jason Derülo. The festival was held in the Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti, which had a capacity of nearly 80.000 people and it was broadcasted on Argentina's biggest TV channel.
The 'Beautiful Mess' singer was widely tipped as THE most exciting popstar to appear on the festival, as her third album topped the hype polls earlier this week.
Kesha performed in front of nearly 80.000 people.
Kesha entered the stage in a black cloak, which hid her from the audience. The lights in the stadium went of and bright white lights started flickering around Kesha. 2 backup dancers were on 2 big walls on either sides of the stage with spotlights on them and 2 spotlights then targeted Kesha, who was on the middle of the stage.
As Kesha stood there, a haunting tune started playing with Kesha whispering "Welcome to my world" at the end of it. Kesha then began singing her first song of the night 'Animal' as the audience started screaming and clapping. As Kesha rrived at the chorus her 2 back-up dancers met in the middle of the stage where Kesha stands and ripped of her cloak, to reveal Kesha's sexy and daring outfit. A black leotard suit with matching black grown and black boots.
As she ended 'Animal' Kesha didn't let the audience crave for more as she immediately moved on to her up-tempo smashes 'Take It Off' and 'Blow', while performing extensive choreographies and stage tricks.
Kesha also performed her latest single 'Beautiful Mess', which filled the stadium with electric energy and sent the audience into hypnosis. The audience wanted more and Kesha wasn't planning on stopping just yet. She performed her hit singles 'Tik Tok' and 'Die Young' as part of a megamix, alongside 'Crazy Kids' and 'Dancing With Tears In My Eyes'.
Kesha closed her show with a small snippet of her second single, which is currently unnamed. The snippet told us Kesha was in need of an exorcism as someone has taken her soul and ripped it apart. We cannot wait to hear the full project!

Kesha performs on X Factor Bolivia
27-year old pop star Kesha has performed on X Factor Bolivia. Though she was not in the country, she did pre-record her performance on the show when she visited the country earlier this week.
Kesha used local dancers only in this stripped back performance of 'Beautiful Mess'
Kesha pre-recorded her 'Beautiful Mess' performance earlier this week.
Kesha has been busy promoting 'Beautiful Mess' with energetic performances, but this time around she choose for a stripped back version. Just Kesha, a pianist and a few dancers from the best dance school in Bolivia.
The singer-songwriter sat on the piano for the whole performance, dressed in a pink floral dress. The local dancers where flying through the air, throughout the accoustic performance. Kesha won the Bolivians over, as they weren't convinced by her vocals, but the stripped back version blew them all away.
In a poll about who was the best guest performer of the season, Kesha topped it with 56% of the votes.

Christina Aguilera hosts SNL
Christina Aguilera hosted Saturday Night Live this week! This marks Aguilera's second stint as the leading lady of SNL, with the first being back in 2004. The musical guest was herself since it only seemed fitting (to NBC officials) that Christina would share with us a special musical treat. As the credits rolled, we were so excited for what Xtina was going to bring to the long-running late night comedy sketch variety show that is: Saturday Night Live or affectionately known as just SNL. There have been many times where amateur hosts (or even those who have a lot of experience) mess up. However, we had no doubts that our fave blue-eyed Latina beauty Legend X was more than capable of pulling off such a responsibility as hosting one of the most infamous and long-running shows to date. Aguilera opened up with a satirical rendition of her timeless classics with 'Beautiful' being the hilarious catalyst of it all. She did a 5 minute introduction skit in front of the audience as she was met with a roaring crowd reception. The Aguilera reign just won't let up you guys!
So anyways, the first skit was Aguilera re-enacting Miley Cyrus' antics in a moderately teasing fashion. This Disney chick rose to fame on said Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana", which helped Miley build a highly-successful empire revolving around her face alone. However, she'd recently felt like it was time to evolve and finally be herself. Most child stars are incredibly susceptible to having emotional breakdowns and, although it may also seem that way with Miss Cyrus, we believe she's more level-headed than what may meet the eye and the licking of hammers. As you may predict, Aguilera once again brought out the laughter in the audience.
Later on in the show, Christina performed for us her second single "Spitfire" featuring Azealia Banks. The track will be featured on Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box" - and follows on by the respectable success of lead single "Nighthawks". She put on a blazen show-stopping performance as Christina riffed her way through the reggae track's mystifying beat. Flames of smoky fire alighted the stage whilst faux ash gave off the illusion of Christina melting. Truth be told, the entire spectacle was visually-stunning as a whole.
Aguilera wore a tight-fitting silk ensemble, matched with silver Dior and Tiffany accessories. It had been announced quite a few weeks ago that Xtina made business arrangements with both companies. She already had a contract extension with Christian Dior, however, not much word on the street was known about her deal with Tiffany's & Co. Throughout the actual show itself, Christina donned many elaborate costumes in order to truly embody whatever character she was originally going for in the first place. In start comparison, Christina contrasted the outlandish flamboyant looks with casual attire at the very start. She opted for a more natural look during the introduction, tie-ins, and overall promo for the Aguilera editon of SNL. We feel as though this undeniably benefited the talented songstress since people could differentiate the paparazzi-followed starlet with the loving mother and wife. Nevertheless, Christina always looks beautiful to us.
In other news, it has been allegedly reported by a number of credible sources that an 'Xtina killer' was responsible for Aguilera's health scare earlier on in the week and is now still on the loose. Christina was hospitalised and rushed to a vacant emergency room (which deals with both accident and emergencies) in the early dusk hours of last Saturday. If you may recall, Dior officials had previously expressed their concern about whether Aguilera could pull off the amount of responsibility she holds as the main spokesperson and face of the high-end designer brand company. It seems as though that wasn't the main issue here. Christina even took extensive precautions to ensure that her children weren't at any risk, especially through her. Now it's been said that Christina was supposedly spike-abused in some way although not much is known about the substance in question. Legal action is ready to be taken as this could prove to be a much bigger scandal than it was at first.
We're especially anticipating Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - which is mysteriously titled as "Pandora's Box". She has since then released two singles with the first being "Nighthawks" and the second "Spitfire" with female rapping vixen Azealia Banks. This shall prove to be a significant moment in Christina's career as she embarks onto her next era. Save up all your coins y'all!

Kesha headlines Bogota's Gay Pride In Concert
Gay Icon and popstar Kesha Rose Sebert has honoured the Bogota Gay Pride with a performance of 5 songs at Gay Pride In Concert.
Kesha showed her support for equality in Bogota
Kesha performed a 5-song set with Pitbull as a guest performers, in front of nearly 20.000 people at the Gay pride and thousands more in front of their TV.
Kesha started her set of with her empowering anthems 'Animal' and 'We R Who We R' as she touched some of her fans and performed some heavy choreography during 'We R Who W R'.
The 27-year old briefly spoke to the audience and told them to never have anyone criticise them for who they are and to never compromise yourself to make someone else happy. Whether that be your sexuality, your body, your personality doesn't matter. "Be yourself and be you".
Kesha then moved on to call her friend Pitbull on stage to perform Kesha's recent #1 single Timber on stage with her. The song got the crowd going wild, which reached a peak when Kesha moved on to her hit single 'Beautiful Mess'. Kesha's hypnotising vocals and ability to blow away an audience shone brighter than the sun right here.
Kesha finalised her performance by thanking everyone for their warm welcome and love and performing her last song 'Tik Tok', before leaving the stage.

TeleHit exclusive: New kesha remix revealed
Kesha has revealed a new remix for her hit single 'Beautiful Mess' on Mexico's very own TeleHit. The music channel expressed their excitement via twitter as they announced the premier and Kesha retweeted the tweet.
TeleHit tweeted their excitement an hour before the premier.
The remix in question is the Cahill Extended Club Edit and will feature on the Remix EP which'll be released this monday. The remix takes one verse, the chorus and middle-8 and uses this in combination with a club ready breakdown.
The song starts by Kesha's middle-8 followed by the chorus as it's flows perfectly into the club-ready breakdown. The 6:09 minute long remix then flows into the heavily remixed second verse, followed by the middle-8, chorus and breakdown.
In the last 1.5 minutes the song calms down for a moment to show off Kesha's impressive vocals in the chorus, just to end in a massive explosive breakdown, which'll hit the clubs harder than anything Kesha's done before.
Kesha's remix EP will be out this monday, with the cover and tracklist to be released this sunday.

Aguilera performs for the President with Azealia Banks
It was the moment we've all been waiting for. Yes, that's right! Christina Aguilera and Azealia Banks had the greatest honour of performing in front of the President [Barack Obama] and the First Lady [Michelle Obama] at the White House, yesterday evening. They both performed a string of hits before coming together to debut their reggae-infused track "Spitfire". This marks the first time Aguilera and Azealia have performed the single together and it was incredulously interesting to see how well their chemistry interacted on stage, of course. What better way than at the White House of all places! "Spitfire" is the second single off of Aguilera's upcoming 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box" - which is set for a release date very soon. The lead single "Nighthawks" experienced reasonable success as it served its ultimate purpose for the era. We feel incredibly sure with ourselves that this collaboration will, not only break boundaries, but also set these boundaries at a higher pedestal. Both females have already experienced a lot of success over the past couple of months so we have no doubts at all that 2014 will keep on bringing more blessings for the girls.
The vixen starlets donned gang-inspired silk ensembles during their "Spitfire" performance and gladly danced an intricate choreography routine. Truth be told, the audience did look a bit starstruck at how revealing the overall performance was. Nevertheless, Aguilera and Banks were met with much acclaim and praise for their inept attention to detail. In other news, the music video for "Spitfire" has quite quickly garnered up a mass amount of views ever since it's release a few days ago. The concept of the video is that Christina and Azealia are lesbian lovers who plot to leave this girl gang situation in Harlem, New York. We won't spoil too much due to the fact there are a lot of twists and turns and the video is literally like a mini-film. It doesn't disappoint, however! Here at the HQ, we predict that Aguilera and Banks have a great shot at snatching up Best Short Story and Best Collaboration awards at the upcoming VMAs this month amongst several other categories. Prepare for an absolute sweeping of sorts.
