Oh, and I just remembered that even Britney Spears and Shakira were performing on morning shows years after their debuts and Britney's debut year is already bigger than Cheryl's and other lots of artist's careers. How on earth Cheryl is 'too big for them' now?

Why would she try and branch out to other demographics who'd be less susceptible to her material when she should be promoting to her actual target audience who are unaware of the song? Whilst it's true that older people are generally unaware of illegally downloading music, what makes you think they'd be familiar with iTunes? They're the kind of people who would be buying the Starstruck Backing Tracks version, unaware that it isn't the actual song. And regardless of that, the 0.01 increase on iTunes that a performance on one of those shows would give the song is basically negligible. She really doesn't need to damage her brand by becoming popular with the older crowd, thus becoming 'uncool' to her main audience.

Why do u guys even worry about her charts positions or promo then? Why do u even call the song 'flop'? She'll still be making money with those things u mention.

That 80 position increase is like going from being 0.0200 on Kworb to 0.0300. In the grand scale of things it doesn't really count for much.

Anyway, i would get that and i would get that u reason u have just gave too. Like being interested in music career and things. But it's clearly false and unnecessary to say that she is 'too big for them'. At least that Britney Spears example makes 'too big for them' thing sound funny.

Why would they be on unaware of the song though? Just because it's not doing as well as MAGIC! on iTunes doesn't mean they're unaware - it's simply because her fanbase isn't as big as people thought it was. People will buy the material if the material lives up to its name. And it's evident that CSL isn't everyone's cup of tea. It's getting excessive airplay too, so to say that the younger demographic isn't 'aware' of the song's release is absurd.

She'll get that #1. You lot just need to chill out, especially one individual in here.

Good Morning America gets WAY higher ratings than any UK breakfast shows. BBC Breakfast averages around 1 million and Good Morning Britain only got 180k a few weeks ago and averages around 200 - 300k.

I think she should at least chat and perform on This Morning and maybe give a pre-recorded interview to Good Morning Britain too or preferably BBC Breakfast, with a longish clip of the video.

It would be good if they could get her a special on channel 4 again, like they did with Call My Name, its a shame T4 isn't on anymore.

When a song is #250 based on pre orders u can easily say that 'I don't think the actual sales will do good since the pre order sales is not doing good.' but now jumping from #170 to #90 doesn't mean anything? And I would like to say that it was a 'morning show' which helped that jump. And since when being #90 with pre orders is bad?

Apparently the next single was meant for Britney last album, but when it became clear Britney wouldn't be promoting extensively the writers took it back. I don't actually know the source of this, but that is the rumour.

I hope its much better than CSL.

I don't think that is fair, I think its quite clear that Cheryl's team do think that. She doesn't perform on those shows, even though so many people do and when she does interviews, they are exclusives where they come to her and pre-record her at home or something like that, she never goes to their studios, they do try to create an image of her being too exclusive and big for the show. I don't agree with it, but its what is happening.

#90 is decent on pre-orders if you hold steady and remain there, but getting a temporary bump then it falling again isn't great. We need to hope it stays steady around there, then we can say it is doing well.
