Who said anything even remotely close to this? Please quote and bold the exact line and post because I sure as hell can't find it. I'll wait.
Either way, there are thousands upon thousands of organizations that people can donate to that actually respect South Africa and don't portray Africans as less than human.

This video is part of a larger problem— the White Savior. Ever since the Civil Rights movement, White people have made it their missions to prove their "tolerance" by attempting to save the children of Africa. There has been a lot of controversy about the campaigns to save the starving children of Africa. It may have originally come from a good place, but it's gotten to the point where these African children are not only dehumanized but are used to further the stigma that Africa is a poor, dirty place.
I mean you have girls like Madonna and Angelina Jolie pledging to "save Africa", turning the cause from something good to something transparent. Yes, Africa does have children who are malnourished, but so does Europe, so does Asia, so does South America, and so does the United States. Yet Europe, Asia, South America, and certainly the US clearly have much wealth as well. Africa does too—it is more than just starving children, but you wouldn't know that from the media. Africa isn't only starving children, and moreover, they don't need white people to come and save them.
Videos like the one in the OP only serve to further this poor-Africa-that-needs-White-saving stigma. You have a rich white woman and a little black child dehumanized—it's textbook. Africa does not need White people to band together to save them. If you want to help starving people out of the goodness of your heart, do that, but devote yourself to helping all starving people. There are starving people in Asia, in Europe, in South America, and in your own backyard.
