Charli XCX on American Idol

Charli XCX performed her brand new single 'Alone in the Dark' on the stage of American Idol. She proved to the world that you don't need ot be american to impress the American Idol jury. The performance started with Charli appearing in the middle of some smoke with blue and purple lightning surrounding her, while saying a small and simple speech: "You made me feel so empty. I loved you and you cheated on me. This couldn't last anymore. You left me and I feel like I'm Alone in the Dark now..."
The lighting remained dark with only a few light blue, yellow and purple lights showing Charli's body moving around the stage. She kept the performance quite mysterious. She sang the first lyrics with a husky yet high voice and calmly, until the first chorus where she jumped and suddenly Three dancers appeared Behind Charli who was jumping around in her pair of huge boots. The three dancers were far in the background on the center of the stage, and we couldn't see them clearly. They were all girls and they started grabbing each other's hair. Suddenly they disappeared and three other dancers appeared on the left side of the stage and they started grabbing each other's hair as well. Charli kept on screaming the lyrics, singing her heart out. During the second chorus The dancers started doing the same thing again.
During the breakdown, Charli sang as loud as possible before doing a few hair flips here and there. The dancer sin the background Were all appearing at the same time and grabbing each other's hair again. Some red lights started showing them clearer. Charli gave a loud scream into the microphone and starting jumping around again while doing hair flips. When the performance ended, the dancers disappeared the smoke stopped appearing as well. Charli smiled widely at the camera as she thanked the crowd who gave her a standing ovation for her wonderful vocals and performance in general.
The host then came up on the stage and praised Charli before asking a few questions:
'Alone in the dark' is a song about feeling lonely and broken after break ups, does this performance relates to the meaning of the song?
Yeah, I'm basically alone on stage. The dancers that appear around the stage at some points represent 'Madness' people go through after break ups. I'm becoming more insane, a break up can hurt so much it mes me feel insane.
When can we expect your album to be out?
Probably in less then a month, next week? the week after, I'm not sure.
Well thank you for being here with us Charli! Ladies and gentleman this was CHARLI XCX performing ALONE IN THE DARK!

But I've recently recorded this new track, "Cuts Like Diamonds", and I think it's such a good song and I love it. The backstory of this track is a bit weird and it all happened so quickly, honestly - I've discovered this new girl, Charli XCX, who was featured on "Fancy" and she also has her new single out at the moment, "Alone In The Dark", and basically one day I just opened up YouTube, I searched for more Charli's track and I discovered this track "Cuts Like Diamonds". It was only a demo that leaked, so it wasn't as perfect as possible, but something still caught my attention. Then I showed this track to DJ Mustard, and somehow he contacted with Charli and her label asking for a permission to rerecord this track for me, and they actually agreed! It was a shock for me how quickly it all happened, but then we rerecorded this track, DJ Mustard kept the melody but he completely changed its instrumental, which ended up sounding like a true urban R&B track. I'm inlove with it at the moment.

Charli XCX performs at T in the Park Festival
Charli XCX was one of the performers on the main stage of T in the Park Festival's Lineup. The performance was watched by more then 50,000 people as T in the Park is one of the biggest festivals around the globe.
While arriving on stage wearing a Juicy Couture Ensemble she introduced herself: "Hello guys, I'm really excited to be here, I can't wait to perform for you. I attended 2 T in the Park festivals myself and you know what guys? I love it!"
She started singing the top 10 hit 'I Love it'. The 'I Love It' hyped up the crowd a lot who started jumping crazily to the catchy beat of the music. "Yeah that's right I know how to throw big parties! I can see you jump.. everyone stand up and JUMP!" she said to hype up the crowd more. She started dancing around doing some hair flips while grabbing the microphone stand which was launching some colors into the crowd. The lyrics of 'I Love It' were appearing on the screen behind Charli.
She then sang the True Romance track 'Black Roses'. The performance featured Charli doing amazing moves and using her voice amazingly. The backdrop showed Roses fading away. "Here's a new track for you guys! It's not on my album or anything I just wrote it for fun like 3 weeks ago, I hope you enjoy it nevertheless!" announced Charli. She started singing a club banger titled 'Ropes'. During the performance she simulated that the microphone stand blocked her walk, wherever she went.
"We're going to slow things down a bit now... here's Nuclear Seasons". The performance wasn't exactly 'Nuclear Seasons' all by it self. The 21 years old Variety Records artist included elements from another True Romance song 'Stay Away'.
The fifth rack she performed, after an outfit change, this time she's wearing a Pink patterned top with a white leotard underneath, accesorized with white platform boots, was Taylor Swift's song 'Minds Interrupted' on which she was featured. It's the first time Charli performs the song. She sang it amazingly and with loads of emotions.
Right when the song ended, Charli walked to the back of the stage and looked back at the crowd again and started to scream: "BOOM BOOM BOOM CLAP" and the crowd instantly screamed along with her upon hearing the introduction of 'Boom Clap'.
She made something similar for the next song, she first said "I wanted you from the start...
I want to lock you up inside my heart" and started to sing 'Lock You Up'.
Next she started to sing 'SuperLove' the promo single released at the end of the 2013. The performance was kept sweet and cute and she tried to catch the hands of some fans. "I love you guys so much!" she said towards the end.
She then did another outfit change and changed into Black leotard with mettallic stars covering it. She started to sing 'How Can I' the track she first recorded for a Indie Horror Film but which was then added to her album 'True Romance'.
"2 More tracks and it's done! Ican't believe it time passed so fast!" said Charli XCX. she started singing 'You're The One'. Smoke started filling out the stage. The performance started getting darker & darker. Suddenly towards the end she disappeared. The smoke that appeared started having different colors, Yellow, Blue & Purple. She appeared in the middle of it and started singing the single 'Alone in the Dark'. The crowd started singing the lyrics along with Charli. The performance was extended and Charli sang 5 extra minutes of the song and towards the end she danced to the Salem remix of the song.
"I love you T in the Park, you were AMAZING! Hopefully I'll be back soon! Thanks again... Have an amazing night!" the british singer concluded before disappearing off the stage.

ANASTACIA APPEARS ON Z100

Anastacia took to Z100 today to promote her latest single, “Gold Temptation”. The singer’s appearance marks the first in a block of spots that the label River Rose Records helped to sponsor today. Elvis Duran hosted the live chat and audiences were relieved that the pair sounded comfortable together.
ED: Thank you for coming in today, Anastacia!
A: It’s so incredible to be here in New York. Thank you for hosting me on your show Elvis!
ED: It’s my pleasure! I’ve always had a place in my heart for a little sprock!
A: [Laughs] That’s really awesome. Thank you for you saying that.
ED: So, the new single is called, “Gold Temptation” and it’s fire. What as your inspiration?
A: I have an unhealthy obsession with everything gold. So, my manager told me I could paint a few guys in gold and do a video and single cover shoot if I could tie it into a song.
ED: No wonder why there seems to be some sexual charge to the song. So let’s be realistic, if I painted myself gold would I stand a chance with Anastacia?
A: You never know.
ED: What about Ryan Seacrest? He’s kind of golden with all that spray tanning.
A: I’m not sure I am anatomically correct for Ryan. [laughs]
ED: Oh my! [laughs] We’ll need to get you on his show.
A: I’d love to do it.
ED: Now, let’s talk about the single, “Gold Temptation”. It’s upbeat, it’s fun and it’s just pure Anastacia. I know you wrote it, but who produced it?
A: The album was produced by Ryan Tedder. I guess he just worked with Reba and I was in there to sign my contract and he saw me. He asked if I was going to be on River Rose Records and I said, yeah. He was impressed with the duet I did with Reba on her new album and we just sort of went for it.
ED: So what was it like working with him?
A: Really good. There were some elements of “Gold Temptation” he wanted me to switch up, the 10 second vocal hold for example on the single was something he pushed me to do near the end of the song. It turned out hot.
ED: I personally love the lyrics to the song. They are bold and fire. Is there any particular lyric you enjoy the most.
A: Of all dem bitches, I’m decked out in all the riches?
ED: [laughs] That was actually the lyric I hoped you would say.
A: What can I say? I know what my fans want.
ED: You sure do. So, you are a monster talent across the globe. Are you going to be focusing your efforts here in the United States?
A: I believe management has me touring different areas of the world. They really want me to capitalize on my global fan base. It’s going to be awesome though, because we are going to have something different going on at each stop.
ED: Can I take a moment to play the new single for fans?
A: Please, do! [laughs]
[Gold Temptation plays on the radio]
ED: Can I be honest, Anastacia?
A: Of course, Elvis!
ED: I think you have a hit on your hands. I would be genuinely surprised if this doesn’t sell well for you.
A: I appreciate you saying that, now if we can just convince Ryan.
ED: Give him hell, he’ll be on your side on this one.
A: [Laughs] I appreciate that.
ED: Well, it looks like another one of your label mates is up next, Anastacia. Thank you for dropping by. Listeners, make sure you take the time to purchase, “Gold Temptation” on your favorite digital music distributor or pick up the single in stores.

KELLY CLARKSON APPEARS ON Z100

Kelly Clarkson took to Z100 today to promote her latest album, “Dark Hearse” and single “You Don’t Need Me”. The singer’s appearance marks the second in a block of spots that the label River Rose Records helped to sponsor today. Elvis Duran hosted the live chat and audiences were anxious to hear what Kelly had to talk about.
ED: Thank you for coming in today, Kelly!
KC: Oh my God! Thank you for having me, Elvis. I love being here in New York! Can I just say, this is literally, the most magical place in the world?
ED: [laughs] Yes, you can! You are always such a joy. It’s so strange knowing you and your personality and hearing, “Dark Hearse”. I mean, where the heck did dark Kelly come from?
KC: [laughs] She’s always been there. I mean, look at some of my previous work. Sober, Never Again and other songs showcased some of that side. For this album, I wanted to explore something beyond the birth of my daughter. She is a massive part of my life, but if I did an album of baby songs, my album would have flopped.
ED: You’re probably right. To be perfectly honest, I love the haunting and somber tone mixed with hot dance tracks. Your duet with Gwen Stefani is incredibly infectious and upbeat.
KC: I loved Come On! Come On! When I wrote it, I was like, I wish there was someone I could sing with that would also want to hit the club and be like, come on, come on don’t wanna wait, just wanna hit the club. Then I heard Gwen on the radio and knew she would be perfect.
ED: I’ve got to say, I was really happy about that. Now, let’s talk about the Dolly Parton collaboration. Wasn’t it originally supposed to be, “Cologne”?
KC: It was. However, Dolly was drunk while we recorded it, so we took the song, “Venom in my Veins” and ended up creating a solid duet with it.
ED: How do you feel about the place that Dolly is at right now?
KC: She’s in rehab. That’s the best place for her. I actually love her new album, “Twerking 4 Jesus” So, I hope she turns her life around and comes hard this week.
ED: As I mentioned, the tone of the album is very dark. The song, “Good Girls Don’t Go To Heaven” was perhaps a very chilling way to close out the album. Where did that song come from?
KC: I wanted to write a track about presenting yourself as kind, loving person to people and then, showing the darkness in everyone. It really turned out much darker than I planned. When I played it for the label, their mouths just dropped. We knew this was something special.
ED: I’ll be honest, the entire album is incredible and I haven’t heard a dud on it. I love the title track with Azealia, “Dark Hearse” she is such a fireball. Did you have any problems with her?
KC: Are you kidding me? Azealia and I have a mutual respect for each other. I love her single, “Vibes” and she has a new album out this week. I actually felt bad going head to head with her. But, the label is focused on getting our music out there and really promoting all of us. I trust what they are doing.
ED: We’ve got to talk about your latest single, “You Don’t Need Me”
KC: It was a top 10 hit and has been certified Gold. I am so thankful fans have been so receptive of it. I am hoping it goes platinum.
ED: I think there is a good chance you will have a platinum hit with it.
KC: Well, I appreciate that!
ED: So, your album has 13 golden tickets randomly inserted in them. Are you nervous about who find them?
KC: Not at all, it’s all very exciting! We already have one girl who has confirmed her ticket and we are just waiting on 12 more.
ED: Can you tell us who she is?
KC: We will confirm everyone once the final ticket has been confirmed.
ED: Sounds perfect. Can I play your latest single for the fans?
KC: Please, do!
[You Don’t Need Me plays on the radio]
ED: Can I be honest, Kelly?
KC: I would prefer that, yes Elvis! [laughs]
ED: Dark Hearse is one of my favorite albums to come out in years. I really hope you end up finding some success with it.
KC: That is really a sweet thing to say, I can’t believe the interview is almost over.
ED: I am sure you will be back soon!
KC: I hope so. I’d really like that!
ED: Well, it looks like another one of your label mates is up next, Kelly. You have been awesome today! Thank you for stopping by! Listeners, be sure to go to buy, “Dark Hearse” at your favorite store or download it on a digital music retailer’s website like iTunes or Amazon. You can also find her latest single, “You Don’t Need Me” in stores and online.

REBA MCENTIRE APPEARS ON Z100

Reba McEntire took to Z100 today to promote her latest album, “Suffocated Memories” and single “Tears of Yesterday”. The singer’s appearance marks the third in a block of spots that the label River Rose Records helped to sponsor today. Elvis Duran hosted the live chat and audiences were intrigued to learn more about Reba.
ED: Country Queen, Reba is with us now!
RM: Hi there, Elvis! What an honor to be on Z100 here in New York. I love being here!
ED: [laughs] I’d say so, you did Broadway a few times, didn’t you.
RM: [laughs] I did. I was in Annie Get Your Gun and did a production of South Pacific also.
ED: Your vocals are incredible. I remember reviewers said you were born to play Annie in the play.
RM: They did say that, didn’t they? [laughs]
ED: Let’s talk about reviews. Suffocated Memories has actually been reviewed very well. You and Ryan Tedder have created such an amazing album together. When did you realize that there was something special on your hands?
RM: I think from the time I looked over the lyrics for, “Tears of Yesterday” it was really a fun and upbeat track. I instantly trusted that he could help me to create an incredible album for my fans.
ED: I think he did. Even though, I must admit I was surprised to see Marilyn Manson on your album.
RM: There were elements on, “Embrace Your Darkness” that if I had sung them wouldn’t have worked out as well as they were intended. So, we first talked about working with Eminem but he was tied up. So I laughed and joking suggested Marilyn Manson. Well, he snapped up the chance and the track actually turned out to be one of my favorites on the album. He’s not as freaky as you would think in real life.
ED: Sort of a persona to expand on the novelty on his song.
RM: I guess you could say that. [laughs]
ED: Now, you feuded with Dolly Parton recently, yet you both did a duet of her smash, “I Will Always Love You”. What is up with that?
RM: Dolly hasn’t always been a bad person. She’s just making bad decisions right now. She’s getting the help she needs and I am a fan of that bitch. So, hopefully she gets better and we can move forward with our friendship and careers.
ED: [laughs] Well, that is a nice way to put it. Now, you have a duet with daughter in law Kelly Clarkson, “I Shouldn’t Need You” it has lesbian undertones. What did your husband and son have to say about you guys recording it?
RM: They were fine with it. I don’t think either would assume that Kelly or I would run off with each other.
ED: It would be an interesting scandal.
RM: It’s not going to happen. The album looked at a bunch of different emotions people struggle with, which is what the title track touches on. Some people struggle with lesbianism and my goal is to show them it’s fine. Everyone has their inner secrets and they can overwhelm you until you let it all out.
ED: That’s very deep. Now, there is a track on the album, “My Halo is Already Gone” Obviously, it was written by Ryan Tedder and takes a stab at the situation. How did Kelly feel about you recording this song and working with Ryan?
RM: She was fine with it. Ryan made some mistakes in the past and I loved the melody and lyrics to the song.
ED: But it copied both Beyonce and Kelly’s melody.
RM: And I love both those songs.
ED: Kind of messy, but okay. Let’s play your latest single for the fans.
RM: Thank you!
[Tears of Yesterday plays on the radio]
ED: Reba that song is hot!
RM: Thanks, Elvis!
ED: Suffocated Memories though, I really enjoyed the album. It’s the perfect blend of pop country. I really hope you are able to achieve the success you deserve.
RM: Why, thank you! I hope it proves to be a hit with the fans also. I guess we will find out in about a week how the overall reception is.
ED: If you have a top 10 debut with it, I think that will be some great success.
RM: It will. Fortunately, my label doesn’t focus on chart position and worries more about final sales.
ED: Very nice. Well, it looks like another one of your label mates is up next, Reba. You have been such a sweetheart here today! We are truly happy you stopped by to talk to us! Listeners, be sure to go to buy, “Suffocated Memories” at your favorite store or download it on a digital music retailer’s website like iTunes or Amazon. You can also find her latest single, “Tears of Yesterday” available in stores and online.

The singer talks about her music and her life, but also explain how she keeps her weight, without doing any special diet and a bit of Reality show.
I do a lot of sports, I exercise myself really hard. I dance really hard and go to the gym at least 5 times a week.
I know it's not the easiest path, but I do like my food. You'll see that soon, cause during the show, I was recording the album. And you know I've been eating all kind of food. But most often it the greasy food that make you lick your fingers after.
Vogue
Cheryl talk about the artist who inspired her and influences her style from the music to her fashion game.
I admire a lot of people out there. I feel a special connection with Rihanna. I love her as an artist and a fashion icon, she always pushs the barriers further with her risky sense of style. She never played it safe.
But Beyonce is my ultimate icon. Does this woman do something wrong in her life ? I feel like Not so many people are the Beyonce type person in this world. She is just something bigger and better, at anything.
These are the kind of woman from nowadays that inspires me to work hard and look beautiful while I'm in pain.
Elle
The British star give us more informations about her and her album.
This upcoming album is what you can't expect me to do, but when you'll listen to it, you might fully know how I do, and what I do. It's quite intimate but not so much in the same time, so you can relate to the songs, and indirectly to myself. Not everything has to be really deep or really dark to connect to an artist, it can also be bright, colourful and happy.
Glamour
Cheryl talks about her love life and her exes.
I do date a lot before start to get into a relationship. I need to trust, and know someone before I can claim him as my boyfriend....
In the past I was not like this, I just jumped from one relationship to another one. That's not how you find true love, but just have a broken heart and a bad reputation.

I would edit this and turn it into 4 of your articles to make an impact. I'm not trying to be mean either. You have good content there. Listing 4 publications in an article isn't going to have the same impact. Those blurbs are a good foundation and can be expanded on and give you some hot results. I want to see Cheryl smash hard.

DOLLY PARTON APPEARS ON Z100

Dolly Parton took to Z100 today to promote her latest album, “Twerking 4 Jesus” and single “Not Through Loving”. The singer’s appearance marks the last in a block of spots that the label River Rose Records helped to sponsor today. Elvis Duran hosted the live chat and audiences were anxious to hear Dolly's latest meltdown.
ED: Ladies and gentlemen hot mess Dolly Parton on the show!
DP: Hey jackass, I’m in rehab. How about treating me with a little respect you second rate host.
ED: [laughs] You’ve become such a joy to be around.
DP: [laughs] I wish I could say the same for you.
ED: So what is rehab like?
DP: Far less painful than sitting here talking to you. I came to talk music with you, Elvis. Let’s leave my personal life out of this.
ED: Your personal life is very public. But I digress. Let’s talk about, “Twerking 4 Jesus”.
DP: I surprise released it and it hit # 5. The album is better than anything I have ever done before. It is spiritual. It is uplifting and it is hot.
ED: Something I have noticed, is you make claims you are getting better, then you lash out again.
DP: Something I’ve noticed is that you are incapable of conducting a music interview. It’s nice you can get off on the drama sir, it really is. But let’s talk about the music.
ED: So the album is called, “Twerking 4 Jesus” there is a track by the same name. What’s it about.
DP: It’s literally about Twerking 4 Jesus. The lyrics are, I’m going to twerk 4 the lord, twerk it hard for Jesus. Look busy here comes Jesus. Twerk! Twerk! Twerk! What the hell do you think it means?
ED: How are you on a label with three nice and talented singers? So there is a song on the album, “I Love Rihanna”. You have publically feuded with her. What’s the deal?
DP: Rihanna is hot. I love her, I just don’t like her. It’s not rocket science. It’s like you I am physically repulsed by you. But I would absolutely twerk with you. Would you like to twerk with me?
ED: [laughs] What the hell.
[The pair twerk and play, “Twerking 4 Jesus” on the radio]
ED: Okay, I admit that was a little fun. Let’s talk about another song. “Get Them Legs Down Boy” The song has been criticized by GLAAD.
DP: The song is an empowering anthem for the gays. They just are mad because I told them to put their legs down and do more and make an impact with their life. I mean, seriously.
ED: Drugs & Jesus was criticized by religious groups for promoting drugs with Jesus.
DP: If you piss people off, you’re doing something right. I mean, I compared loving Jesus to a high. Jesus is uplifting and powerful. People just like to create imaginary drama.
ED: Like the drama with Carly Rae Jepsen?
DP: Don’t say her name too loudly. You’ll distract her from finding her career.
ED: Is there anyone you are not feuding with?
DP: Kelly Clarkson. She did a feature on, “Venom in My Veins” on my album, “Twerking 4 Jesus”. We were supposed to do a song called “Cologne” for hers. But she pulled the vocals off my version of, “Venom in My Veins” and created a true duet for it.
ED: I heard it was because you were drunk, but okay. Let’s play your latest single for the fans.
DP: Finally. I want to go back to rehab so I can have the whiskey I hid.
[Not Through Loving You plays on the radio]
ED: How does someone so messed up write such a lovely song?
DP: Talent. Look it up in the dictionary so you understand it.
ED: I wish you all the best in rehab. You certainly need it.
DP: I’d love to lie and say I had a good time, but I didn’t.
ED: I could get you promo on Seacrest’s show.
DP: Would you?
ED: Not a chance in hell. Well, it looks like it’s time for you to go back to rehab, Dolly. You have been such a um you were here today. We are truly um surprised you stopped by to talk to us. Listeners, be sure to go to buy, “Twerking 4 Jesus” at your favorite store or download it on a digital music retailer’s website like iTunes or Amazon.
