Katy Perry performs Monday night before a female-strong crowd of 15,715 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
Just ask Katy Perry, whose sold-out Monday show at the Tampa Bay Times Forum was decidedly without rocketing foodstuffs, once the record-setting singer's vavoomish trademark.
They performed, they were good but their set was a little too long because it all sounded the same to me I just can't get into them.
Also, they had six big light panels along the back that spelled out "CAPITA" and "CITIES" and it bothered me the whole time that it said "capita" instead of "capital" because they only had six panels and had no way to get that "L" at the end
It's funny that you say that cause last night I was thinking the exact same thing LOL
It was packed, I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out it was completely sold out. When Ferras came out it wasn't that full but by the time Katy took the stage two hours later, the only empty seats I could see were on the floor from people who'd stood up to go stand by the stage.
My mom asked me if I wanted to go to this months ago and I said yes, but for some reason she kept forgetting about it... but my sister asked me a few minutes ago and I said yes again, so she just printed out tickets for Thursday. I would've gone tomorrow but I guess it's sold out or there's only floppy seats left.
My sister just got the tickets yesterday and we got 8th row on the side. So apparently the show isn't too packed yet. But at least we got some pretty good seats this late, so I'm happy about that. It's not my first time seeing her since she was at the 2010 Y100 Jingle Ball, but that was only a little set. Definitely excited for this.

Could be because they just released the VIP tickets from the packages. They usually do that a week before the show, you just happened to luck out. You'll have a blast!!!
So I did a little math, the 5 reported North American shows averaged about $1.5 million, which would mean the North American leg alone will gross $100,000,000 (I'm guessing a little more with bigger, more expensive shows like New York, LA and Vegas). Then she made around $15 million from the first UK leg, she's bound to make bank from the Australian shows (I'm guessing a little below $2 million a show) That would make $40+ million. Katy said the tour would last until Fall 2015, I'm sure she will make over $200,000,000. Queen.
