Throughout the hit song, it's just her gorgeous vocals and piano. So according to Wikipedia or its available source on there, it is considered "Rock" Its pop imo.

And don't forget about the latter end of the song where it gets "rock"ier!

The version with the band kicking in during the last chorus is the best version!

Ballads are really hard to classify. I still think its a rock ballad though
