I was at the show last night in Atlantic City. I sat right in front of the ABSOLUT Lounge so I was literally right in front of her during "Born This Way" and "Gypsy" (she came a few times during "Venus", "ARTPOP" + "Applause"). The show was literally everything. I have a video of "Born This Way", I'll upload it later tonight
I said this before: but I think "Fashion!" was cut because there's a lot of moments in this tour where the energy kind of dies down. It doesn't feel like a "rave" all the time. This was for the best.
The opposite would have been surprising: the eccentric Lady Gaga brings the largest team ever received at the Festival d'été de Québec (FEQ). With hundreds of employees, including some Quebecers, everything must be provided for her war machine.
"Lady Gaga is our biggest show of the festival," says unhesitatingly FEQ production manager Patrick Martin.
On the one hand, the FEQ must undo after the opening show on Thursday the giant screens in the bottom of the stage to make way for the vast stage set of Gaga. These facilities - which resemble caves and helium shelters - are used as support for video projections.
On the other hand, the Lady Gaga staff had to abandon the idea of integrating many bridges within the crowd, as it does in an arena. "It was physically impossible," says Patrick Martin.
Last year, the arrival of Bruno Mars was also part of the framework of a world tour, but Lady Gaga wins the prize for the most numerous army.
