I'm from Italy, but I don't know the reason!
Help me fulfill my curiosity, thanks!

Because it still slays? Italy has been here for her in the TTAL era, she really needs to go there next time.

I would still love to hear a song from them although it's not happening I guess.

^ but she's always admitted to it... it's nothing new. in that older interview she already said that she tried to live through pink and therefore had to step back. that wasn't great of linda, but it was also not great of pink to leave linda alone in her house although she begged her to work on TT.
i guess both had to have that break. both are powerful forces and it was necessary for them to grow apart a bit.

I'm not sure if I could pick one song that really spoke to me. She just kind of spoke to me as a person. I remember really connecting with Missundaztood. I was 13/14 and in 8th grade. I just remember that was around the time I really started accepting I was gay. So a lot of that album really spoke to me. Especially Dear Diary, Lonely Girl and Eventually. I would say Eventually the most though. Then when Try This came out, and I was 15/16.. I remember hearing Oh My God and it was my favorite song at the time. (But I was a hormonal teenager. Soo. )
She's just always managed to create a new song that I feel like I can just really relate to. Funhouse came out right after a break up of course. Oddly enough, the era ended around the time I met my husband. Which Glitter In The Air was our wedding song. Heartbreak started around So What, happy ending with Glitter. Kinda funny when you think about it. Especially with the meaning behind GITA.

Tell me David, is your husband a stan? Who does he stan for usually?
Is he jealous of P!nk sometimes?

I'm not sure about working with Linda - one thing I've always felt is that M!ss was too overproduced and filtered. However, I'd like P!nk to work with someone who would push her boundaries --give her a mic and just sing what comes to mind.
And mess at us all being messed up people. Guess that's why we love P!nk. "We're not broken just bent"

hm overproduced? i don't really feel that way. to me, it's just right it's like a spontaneity delight fest. sure, most songs work on protools but they sound amazing so i don't care in the least! haha
i think her most overproduced songs are on TTAL and also catch me while i'm sleeping. now, i ADORE that song! but the demo sounds miles better.

TTAL is so over produced ala BMOLK.
I'd be here for a Linda/P!nk because it might be a chance to create something special and maybe it might give P!nk some more motivation to musically spice things up again.

and the lyrics could deal with their feelings they had about the break, during it and after. idk. there's a lot to talk about, to process and to acknowledge to each other. it'd be like a therapy session again and she could tie it to other instances where she went through the same things. i just hope that it won't be another so what/blow me and something more timeless and worthwhile. getting involved with max martin/dr. luke really did a number on her musically :/

Oh I meant the vocals on some songs - I loved her during IND era (she sang with such gusto and emotions) so I went back to listen to the studio versions but the vocals were too filtered.

it's amazing how they turned this melancholy and dark demo that was originally to be on missundaztood into the cmwis we have on TT.

hm idk... maybe back when she came out with fallin', but after that her voice has gotten worse as did her music. i'd love for pink to have a duet with john grant. that man knows how to sing and how to write lyrics.

I was just listening to my iTunes on shuffle and all of a sudden there came a song on called "Pink" by Jeff Sammon. I realised that it was by some singer/songwriter and that I ripped it off youtube (it was an acoustic live performance) AGES ago and even got in contact with Jeff. He wrote the song after he saw "MTV's Driven" about P!nk. The lyrics are the purest LIFE. Very funny, but also very fitting and very loving.
It's not on youtube anymore but I want you guys to hear it... hm... well let me at least write down some of the lyrics:
Jeff Sammon - P!nk
Hey there Alecia,
I'm so glad you made it
I see that you are driven and I really ****in' hate it
'cause I wanna be a color, too
I think I'd make quite a handsome blue.
Hey there Alecia,
your story was exciting
the police always after you
your parents always fighting
and I wanna live in chaos too
do you think that I could stay with you?
'Cause every night when I'm in bed,
I pray I shine before I'm dead,
the wine is sweeter, when you mix the white with red.
And my whole life has been a lie.
In ???? dressed in suit and tie,
I'm waiting for my moment to fall out of the sky.
Hey there Alecia,
your words are lethal venom,
no mercy on your victim,
you're a cobra dressed in denim,
and I wanna be that angry, too,
but I would never direct it at you.
Hey there Alecia,
the system you are fighting,
the bosom's there to feed you,
but the nipple you are biting,
and I wanna be a rebel, too,
if I could find a cause I could stick to.
But I'm afraid of what I'd lose,
if I strapped on your platform shoes,
who am I kidding? I don't even have tattoos.
And you're the perfect girl for me,
your talent and tenacity,
so please kick my ass out of mediocrity!
Hey there Alecia,
I'll probably never make it,
you see, I'm not that driven,
but I always try to fake it,
'cause I wanna be somebody, too.
Can I just pretend that I'm like you?
'Cause you're the perfect girl for me,
your talent and tenacity,
so please kick my ass out of mediocrity!
Everyone is P!nk on the inside!
Everyone is P!nk on the inside!
Everyone is P!nk on the inside!
Everyone is P!nk on the inside!
Also, do you guys remember that song about P!nk by "Golden Boy"?!

Jeff Sammon - P!nk (song to the lyrics I posted above): https://www.sendspace.com/file/8aozs4
Golden Boy - P!nk (another song about P!nk, sounds pretty 90's to me ): https://www.sendspace.com/file/jmd6n6
