Why are you guys having a go at YM8? He's obviously correct. If this song was released in 2010 or 2011 when there was more hype around Nicki it would be doing a lot better atm. Moment 4 Life which is less poppy managed to do better than this.

I think Pills N Potions can still be a big hit though, if pop radio play it more.

Exactly im not dissing her im just saying her impact isnt as big as it used to especially her Urban fanbase ..

And there are songs that are doing worse than PnP with more (or the same level of) promo/videos.

Take T.I.'s No Mediocre for instance. T.I. did a radio run + dropped a music video (= what Nicki did) and his single is now falling at a much faster pace than PnP did (currently at #50 on US iTunes) even with a feature from a rapper with a current #1 and #2.

I don't know what big three you have in mind, but imo Nicki was never a part of any big three rap-wise lol. It's always been Eminem, Wayne, and Drake this decade imo.

This isn't necessarily true. I think we're forgetting that. Nicki only has two solo top tens. Other that that her songs linger in the top 50 for months.

I actually dont blame Nicki !!! I blame her Urban fanbase whom were to harsh on her judging her and abandoning her due to songs like Starships and Super Bass and other popish songs they wanted a full 100% hip hop Nicki and Nicki sorta transformed into a pop sensation ... Now u might say how does that hurt her ? Losing ur urban fanbase is one thing but nicki as a pop star isnt working as Stars like Rihanna Gaga Perry (original pop stars) have huge fanbases and Nicki cant compete with that
