And all non-US artists say they want to break into the US market. It doesn't happen so easily. Ellie probably did better in #'s outside the US, but she sold 450k here. Which is still great considering Selena, Demi, Ariana sold about the same, if not less.
Paps say Jesse J's photos sell great in the UK but taking photos of her in the US makes them nothing. Cuz no one knows her and they won't buy them. I never heard of her until she did a great cover of IKYWT.

I think with LP5, Taylor is going more 'global'. Just look at Facebook likes and you will see that within the past year or two, the global fans are ramping up quite a bit. France, Poland, Germany, and even Portugal are getting into the action. Of course, the phillipines, Indonesia, and Japan are up there already, but just wait, I bet Europe is next. So don't be surprised if this album release gets a more global appeal than expected.
Worse than Teenage Dream even. 
I am just not very vocal about it.
