Who says that? I could never bring myself to call my actual dad "daddy" - I'm 22 years old and he knows I'm gay and that would just be weird because I'm a grown man. I've had guys ask me to call them that in bed though and I've done it, not because I chose to, and not because I have father issues or because I'm in love with my dad

I would never call someone that of my own volition. You never know how they might take it. They might be offended because you're implying that they're old, even if it's just saying it because they're older (or simply just bigger) than you. I've only ever used it when asked/been told to.
