Every time I see it on here or elsewhere I can't help, but think that the gays should collectively come up with a more original name. A name that does not refer to our own fathers! Anyone else feel slightly unsettled by this ? Maybe its a submissive thing (?) wanting the guy you like to be authoritative like your own dad?
I cringe when people call me daddy. I'm like, I'm not your ****ing father. So when I see people calling people that are in their late 20s/early 30s such as myself, a daddy, I am like, no. Just no.
No that's not a correct analogy in relation to "daddy". That's like calling someone you like "adult"(which no one does) . A better one would be calling them "son" or "daughter".
Edit: That explanation didn't seem clear. In brief, "daddy" is not the counterpart to "baby". "Adult" is.
It weirds me out when I see it written on ATRL about twinks. But irl if a guy wants me to call him that in the bedroom because it turns him on or whatever, I comply. I'm usually drunk though so IDGAF. It's not like there's any room to think "is this weird?" when you're drunk and having sex.
