anyway: Duffy's style is itneresting to the extent that listening to her whiny pop voice gets overly irritating. Estelle is, I can truly say a completely different artist uncomparable on so many levels, has a unique addictive vioice which CAN get a bit much but by blending soulful, more old-school style with more contemporary material gives her music a whole new twist in music.
Carrie is not even close to the queen of country music. Besides Reba McEntire, who is often referred to as the "queen of country music", Dolly Parton is still alive, Martina McBride is a great vocalist ... Jessica just entered Country for less than half-a-year. LMAO ><
And why is it sub-genre?? Country music is a genre by itself. Country-pop is a sub-genre!
