Does it really matter though?
If people are not buying Nintendo consoles, Nintendo games don't sell by default. Sony publish enough games that they aren't concerned about total sales. They will all add up in the end.
Btw Sony was two million in front of Nintendo anyway of software sales as of April for home consoles. (13m > 11m)
We are currently waiting for an update for the end of the finical year total (of handheld +previous gen to be added to the software list).
